Everything you could possibly need or want was available at the property. It was very comfortable staying there; the best place we stayed at in Madeira. Check in was easy. The view from the terrace is stunning
Granted, the location in the hills is made clear in the listing, but in practice it is quite far removed from Calheta. A car or other transport is an absolute necessity. I had thought we would meet the owners and be able to ask questions about activities in the area, but this wasn’t the case unfortunately, but they were responsive on text and had left a lot of information in the apartment, in fairness.
