Calheta Bliss

Contact met de host verliep super! Via WhatsApp snel een reactie. Verblijf was groot, netjes, schoon. Bedden lagen heerlijk!

José and his father are doing a wonderful job with the property. It’s very clean, well maintained, comes with beautiful views, and it’s well kitted out so you can save money on eating out, if you’d wish to do so. We visited Madeira to do many of its beautiful hikes and so we were out most of the day, but we always looked forward to returning in the evening, as the property made us feel very much at home. It doesn’t have designated parking and that was one of our main concerns but, there always turned out to be space somewhere along the street to leave the car. Worst case scenario, there’s a small 3/4 space car park at the top of the road which is a 3 minute walk down, if that. We found this property last minute as our original ‘VVIP’ booking ended up being disgusting and full of mold/ dampness, and this place managed to turn our holiday around and had a pretty view out the window anyway!

I can’t fault the property at all, but you’d really benefit from having a hired car as it’s not got much in walking distance.

Dankje!
