De locatie, het uitzicht was prachtig

De douche, water was heel moeilijk te regelen of heel warm bijna kokend water of koud water. Matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe.

De locatie is ietwat spannend om te bereiken over een best smal en erg steil enkelrichting wegje/straatje. Reken toch altijd een 10min "extra" als je van "beneden" komt om er te geraken. Met een huurwagen Seat Ibiza geraak je er op sommige plekken "net" tussen, héél voorzichtig zijn met breder model SUV/Jeep ;-) Uitzicht is prachtig, in de ochtend ontbijten bij de eerste zonnestralen. Zeer ruim terras met BBQ en verschillende ligstoelen, tafel, bankje etc. Zéér rustig.

"tegenvallen" is overdreven, maar warm water voorziening gaat via 1 boiler in keuken. Voor het warme water in de douche geraakt ben je toch wel enkele minuten verder wat raar is aangezien het maar enkele meters verder is. Ik begrijp dat je spaarzaam met water moet zijn, maar het debiet mocht ook wat hoger ;-) (denkelijk spaar-douche kop of zoiets)

Very clean and cozy little house, miraculous views from the garden and the garden itself was beautiful. Sufficient private parking. I enjoyed a nice pool to swim and cool down after nearby Levada Nova and Levada do Moinho hikes on a sunny day. Nice restaurants and café in the area around and we appreciated recommendations received from Leo and Amnon, who were very friendly hosts. Overall, a great place to stay on the sunny south coast of Madeira!

All was great - I just kept hitting my head into some roof beams sticking out in the kitchen, perhaps the builders didn't expect people taller than 6ft/180cm to stay there 😄.

Wonderful accommodation with a panoramic view for those who enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of nature. Levada hiking trail just around the corner, a veranda to relax and a cosy house. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest!
