Mansion Almond - SEA, SUN and a charming refuge!

Die Räume sind großzügig geschnitten. Jedes Schlafzimmer hatte ein eigenes Badezimmer. Es gab auch eine Waschmaschine, die genutzt werden konnte.

The host was a good communicator on What's App and supplied easy information on check-in and parking. The house was big and clean, there were only five of us but it could have accommodated up to eight people easily. They were five bathrooms, one with a big tub ( no stopper that we could find so we improvised) The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and microwave, fridge and stove. It had a lot of counter space as well as a great kitchen nook and large dining room table. Comfy couches in the living room and big screen TV. The house was walking distance to several good restaurants ( 5- 10 minutes) and very close to the ocean ( 2 minutes). It was located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, and garbage and recycling was easy to access. It had a great view of the mountains behind the house and the ocean out the front.

The Villa is really big, nice and nearly exactly like you can see on the pictures. The small village is nice, quiet and there are a few restaurants, snack bars, a café and a small super market. The area is nice, ocean is only 2mins of walk (even if the entry isn´t easy there, a lot of waves and stones). You can walk along the street to get a nice access to the ocean and small bars, only 10mins walk. Rooms were big, clean, a huge terrace and area for eating outside, sun bathing, a barbecue grill and inside a big kitchen. You could use the parking area for 1 car inside the property. Room clima was good, as it´s a lot of stone/marmor. Great designed. Very helpful person/owner. We give full recommendation.

Nearly nothing. There are cats in the close neighborhood, they always try to get access inside the villa, but no blocking point or negative issue for us.

Great location within walking distance to restaurants. The entire house is stunning with a lot of space. The patio is very nice with a barbecue grill. The Mountain View is amazing, I really enjoyed my stay at this villa. Paul do mar is a small and lovely town for people who do not like to be in the crowds. My stay at Paul do mar was very relaxing. I’m planning to come back for a longer stay next year. I definitely recommend staying at this villa. A car is needed to have flexibility to explore the island.

The appliances are out dated, and one of the bedrooms is very humid. It would be nice to have some updates to make this lovely village shine again.
