The only redeeming feature of the area is Armando's restaurant nearby.
This isn't really an apartment but a house with several guest rooms. The kitchen is shared, while some rooms have a private bathroom and others share one. The location isn't particularly special, as it's in a small village just before Porto Moniz. We were woken up by roosters at around 4 a.m., and the overall feel of the place is like staying in an old, outdated house. For the price, it's simply not worth it. I would definitely recommend spending an extra €20–30 on a proper apartment or hotel instead of wasting your money on this place.
