Comfortable, large rooms with views. The property was gorgeous, quirky, and fun to explore. The beach is nearby and town is a short (albeit steep) hike away. The staff were very friendly and all of your needs are comfortably covered.
The bathroom shower was tough to use, very low pressure. There’s no TV in the room (which if you’re used to having, may be a minus) not a drawback but worth mentioning.

We stayed for one night to be closer to pico ruivo for the sunrise hike. It was very good, had a nice hot shower and the bed slept well. The kitchen was amazing though equipped with everything you possibly need! Nice commute sitting area with a TV. The wifi wasn't so strong in the rooms but that's not too bad. Lovely little area where it is located at, don't be scared by the karting next door, we could barely hear them. Overall good stay!

The room was huge. The property is beautiful but not taking care of, it seems abandoned.
There was mold everywhere, the room smelled of mold. Next to the hotel is the go-kart track, so it was very noisy during the day.
