About this house rental
Casa do Faial is surrounded my mountains in a rural area.
The House is spacious and the garden and a barbecue invites our guests to enjoy a meal or just have a coffee outside.
Just 3 minutes away from the house (by car) is the beautiful and relaxing Tea House of Faial.
The house is just 5 minutes by car from the Faial beach!
Just a few minutes by car from the House our guests will find:
- Tea House (Tea House of Faial)
- Grutas restaurant
- Beach
- Beach Restaurant
Other available services:
- Car Rental
- Transfers (payment must be done directly to the driver)
- Private tours in classic vehicles
- Private boat trips and personalized fishing programs with the possibility of onboard catering
A surcharge of €40 applies for arrivals after 20h.
All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property.
*City Tax Fee: 2€ per guest, per night, to be paid by bank transfer until 8 days prior to the arrival date.

Please note that the property offers two bedrooms.
One of the bedrooms, which includes a private bathroom, is located next to the kitchen and has an independent entrance, with a door facing the private patio of the house.
In the exterior photos of the property, you can see a wooden door, this door corresponds precisely to the bedroom with the private bathroom.
For families travelling with children who prefer not to use both bedrooms, we will be happy to prepare the sofa bed in the living room, allowing children to sleep comfortably close to their parents and inside the main living area of the house.
Please note: we need to be informed of your choice at the time of reservation confirmation.

The service is absolutely perfect. Communication before, at and after our holiday was very nice. Margida, who was our service contact is very fast in answering every question and organizing new towels or things you may miss in the kitchen. Thank you for helping, Margida!
The house is the perfect location to start to every "must-see" at Madeira. Located in the middle of the northern side it is not longer than 1 hour to get to all interesting spots at this nice island.
Don"t miss the nice bar at the street above the house to get a real traditional poncha here!

Dear Propery Manager,
The communication was excellent and we really appreciated the very quick response when we asked for some more kitchen equipment.
There is one thing we would really like to mention. The house, particularly the two bedrooms, are very humid and the owner might consider having a dehumidifier running more or less all the time, not just when guests are arriving. The insides of pressess and wardrobes have an unpleasant, mildrewey smell to them.
Other than that a great house.

Dommage, maison bien entretenue et bien située.

"We had a very good time in Faial. The cottage had everything we needed (including coffee maker!). Very clean. We liked using the outdoor kitchen and barbecue. Kids loved the swing in the small garden...."
