We had a great stay at this house on Madeira! We really enjoyed the location – it was peaceful and scenic, but still conveniently close to the main attractions. The property itself is spacious, with a large house and a beautifully maintained garden area. The swimming pool was clean and well-kept, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax both indoors and outdoors (water was warm most of the time). The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay – from kitchen basics to towels and other essentials. Having a private parking space was also a big plus. One more thing we truly appreciated was that pets are allowed – we were able to stay with our dog, which was a big advantage for us. Overall, it’s a great option for a group or family looking to enjoy the island with lots of space.

A few things could be improved: The Wi-Fi doesn’t reach all areas of the house or the property, which made it a bit difficult to stay connected at times. The parking area is also quite tricky, as it’s located on a steep slope – though this is not something the hosts can control, it’s worth noting for future guests. Inside the house, there’s a noticeable damp or musty smell, possibly from the old furniture or just the general humidity. A lot of the furnishings and items feel outdated, and some parts of the house seem a bit neglected or not thoroughly cleaned. While everything works, some areas and appliances are definitely showing signs of wear and could use maintenance or refreshing.

W domu panuje wilgoć, w szafach śmierdzi więc wszystko trzeba trzymać w walizce, dom był brudny: podłogi nieumyte, tylko zamiecione, w kuchni brudno, w zamrażalce grzyb, dolna łazienka niewietrzona. Koce stare. Jedno łóżko długie, ale drugie to rama z krótkim, nieprzymocowanym, zsuwającym się materacem. Kompletny brak wyposażenia kuchni - na 6 osób - 3 kieliszki do wina, stare, zdarte patelnie, 1 ścierka kuchenna, brak ręczników papierowych, żadnej kapsułki do ekspresu do kawy - na wzór. Wystarczyłoby gruntownie wysprzątać całość, zainwestować 100 Euro w kuchnię i wrażenie byłoby inne.
