Room was large with a fridge, TV and tea/coffee making facilities and was very comfortable. Staff were helpful, especially Sophia in the bar.
We stayed during the heatwave and the room was incredibly hot with no fan and no means of cooling it down. The shower would not give cold water. We spoke to maintenance who called a plumber who fitted a new cold water feed within 20 minutes. The window blind didn't work and sadly despite 3 requests to fix the fridge (it wasn't working), no one came back, so our drinks and fruit remained warm, at 36 degrees :-(

Brilliant location, right in centre of Swanage. Friendly staff, very obliging and helpful.
Some of the lights in room , not working and overhead Windows did not have blinds so light was a problem. No fans or ac.

It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was good, nice big bath towel. There was heating and free parking. The pub served great food, a discount for staying would have been nice, the staff were friendly.
It was very small, the carpet was old, the door didn’t seal properly, it was a stable door. Because of its location you had to keep the window closed and blind shut, it was noisy in the evening as it faced the pub outdoor seating area. The internet from the pub did not connect, it was too far away. There wasn’t someone to speak to when I arrived. I had to queue in the pub with customers to check-in. It was a bit chaotic. More instructions for this would have helped.
