The golf lodge was a great space for our stay and all the amenities worked perfectly. The place was very spacious and air conditioned and it was easy to find. Our host Abbie was extremely responsive to any requests we made and was very generous in allowing us to check in early and check out late. I would recommend staying here if you're self-catering and looking to explore the local area.
Completely unrelated to the golf lodge, but the facilities on site at Pearl Valley were not great. The service at the clubhouse was absolutely shocking and there was constant battles to understand which facilities we could and couldn't use given the golf lodge isn't part of the hotel. The security gate also took about 10 mins on average to get through despite having all the relevant guest codes and they were not very understanding when trying to order Ubers.

The house was in a great location, easy to find and the check in process was seamless. We had exceptional service from Abbie. She was very thoughtful and accommodating. We look forward to going back! We loved watching the birdlife over the water, the views were spectacular. We enjoyed dinner at the Club House and also at Polo Club, definitively a must do! It was a great location for exploring the winelands.
Maybe a new grid on the weber woul be good, thought the braai facilities was not great as there are 2 braai, but they're not in great condition.
