Amazing Staff and cute location.

The Staff was amazing. We were very welcomed and teated so nicely. We felt like we were in a little relaxing oasis for us. Its a great scenic change after a few days in capetown.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful area

Amazing little hotel with a beautiful view over the vineyards! Everything was perfect, the room, the pool, the view! I loved that they have high quality bedding and sheets as well as that they provided bathrobes and pool towels! Breakfast was delicious, you could choose one main from the menu. In the evening, we had a lovely time by the chimney. A cute cat to pet and two dogs are also around.

The only thing that irritated me were the high prices for dinner. While I understand that it’s a small place, I had a vegetarian Pojite for 590 Rant! That’s roughly 30€ and in my opinion really overpriced for some rice with vegetable curry - especially because they rushed us to order dinner right when we arrived and prices were not mentioned then.

Best escape ever!

The staff were extremely welcoming, and quickly organised our Luxury open plan villa, organised lighting the fire to heat the jacuzzi and answered any questions. The appliances were all top spec and very comfy bed. Great, food and wine at the main building. Felt very private and quiet, was sad to leave!

Staff were very friendly, dining area has a great view. Room was spacious, very clean and a large bathroom. Bonus having 2 friendly dogs on site!

Breakfast finished at 9 - I felt this was early for a Sunday especially as we were staying at the venue post a wedding on site.

Excellent!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lodge: the room was very pleasant, the bed extremely comfortable, the surroundings beautiful and peaceful, we enjoyed the pool and heated bath, and the cuisine was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. We would be delighted to return!

The log cabin is in the most peaceful spot amongst the vineyard Beautiful cabin, with everything you could need. Comfy bed with spectacular views The food cooked by Chef Duke was amazing - the Braai was next level and the kudu steak so tasty! Good portion sizes too Michael was front of house and so welcoming 5

My fave place on earth

Second time staying here because we loved it so much the first time and somehow it’s even better. Massive shout out to Michael and Chef Duke who made our stay so special. It’s such an intimate experience staying/eating here and the team all really care about what they do. I will never not rave about/recommend this place and can’t wait to be back.

Very peaceful and relaxing stay

Fabulous location, very secluded with lovely views around. The fire was stoked and welcoming in the main lounge area, perfect for drinking wine and reading in the evening. We had the Braai which was delicious. Staff were excellent.

Wood fired hot tub looked great but didn’t get up to a temperature we could use whist we were staying unfortunately. None the less lounging by the pool was great

2 Room Luxury villa - Home with w view

Warm and welcoming from the start — staff communication was excellent even before arrival. The room had a stunning view, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the house felt cosy and homely throughout our stay. I stayed for 2 nights, and still felt it wasn't enough!

It would have been helpful to know in advance that the toilet area lacked doors or curtains. For guests from more conservative cultures, this detail is important when planning who to share the room with.

Fishing, hiking, swimming available. We had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, Anthony made us feel at home with his warm hospitality and genuine care throughout our stay. The cabin was cozy, clean, and beautifully set up, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Outstanding, freshly made breakfast to order from a choice of a few excellent options. Beautiful views from our room (The Barrel) & from all public areas. Kind staff and beautiful views

The location and views were beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. The weather was hot during our stay so we really appreciated the air conditioning and the pool. The staff was helpful and hospitable. We forgot an item behind in our room and got a phone call about it soon after. The staff was very kind and helped us courier the item to our next location. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to South Africa!
