Sorell Boutique-Hotel St Peter Zurich

The location was superb, on a charming street, and the service was wonderful. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, comfortable, and effortless. A special thank you to Florina for being so helpful and attentive throughout our stay!

Stayed here for two nights and loved it! For starters, any nice looking hotel in Zurich will never come cheap so 4 stars for value is probably on Zurich as a city rather than this hotel solely. For *** a night, we got a low floor room facing the restaurant downstairs. Soundproofing is reasonably good so we thankfully were not disturbed. It is also not a rowdy restaurant or street anyways. The room itself was immaculate and we loved the design of it with the burst of colors and luxurious amenities. There was also plenty of space for us to open up our luggage’s and dining space for us to have meals in the room. Breakfast has a decent Swiss spread which we enjoyed. There’s also a small gym down in the basement but that’s about it for facilities - you ain’t supposed to be staying in the hotel anyway in a place like Zürich. Location is kind of an in-between. It is halfway down Bahnofstrasse from the main HB station, and the other half-way down gets you on the lake promenade. We walked to the hotel from the main train station but you could also get on the tram 2 stops and you’re just 4mins from the doorstep of the hotel. There’s a stretch of cobblestone pavement that you’d need to get through so look out for wobbly luggage wheels. We’d definitely stay here again if we do come back to Zurich.

Very conveniently located in the old town, walkable from HBF. Quick ride to the airport. Hotel itself is well designed and exceptionally clean, great bath products. Welcome fruits was a nice touch. Straight forward breakfast that have the things you’d want, they also offer cheeky Prosecco on the buffet, perfect for those who are celebrating. We were assigned a room on the G/F facing the inner courtyard, no issues with the church bells/noise that some reviews highlighted. We also didn’t have any issues with the A/C. Front office team were super friendly and helpful, they also helped to arrange early check in after our long travel so that was a game changer. One note is, cabs can’t drive right up to the hotel but you can be dropped off 30 seconds away in the nearby plaza so that’s no issue. Really loved our stay and will definitely be our hotel of choice whenever we’re back in Zurich!
