Great place, clean, cozy

The room, bathroom, toilet, public place are all clean, even possible to be bare foot. The bed is big enough and we have our own locker, pretty nice for backpackers who has no luggage with locker.

Well...quite expensive price per night, but it's in Switzerland so what can you say... Others are still great.

Bad

There were NO COMMON area in the hostel. Just an outside SMALL terrace. The "supposed common area" is a tiny attic, with 1 (one) tiny table with 2 chairs and 2 armchairs. That's it! In addition, when I was there (5 nights) someone was staying in the "common area", you could see his baggage & shoes and I actually saw him one morning, sleeping behind a paravan.

Whether U are traveling alone...or in a group of Friends...this is literally the Best place to stay....Very Clean and Comfortable....Very Polite Staff...and A Nice and Cosy Environment... I highly recommend this place.... Even when i visit Switzerland, Zurich next...i will prefer to stay here in this place...

Nice host, lovely decor as you go upstairs, I stayed in a room with two other people a girl and a guy, place is clean with a small kitchen with teas and coffees, it’s not difficult to find if you follow Google maps well, location is very good.

The location was decent.

*I have booked my mistake in October while my trip was in June. Not their problem. I went to the hostel. The person could not speak English (and didn't even try). Maybe she doesn't need to, but it was difficult for me to solve the problemI had. The location was good, the place so tight, the bathroom... they would open the door at specific hour only. The WhatsApp number not working. They were fully booked, so i had to leave. *I have tried to message them later to ask if I could have a refund or maybe credit since the reservation was like 5 months earlier and they could still book it with someone who needs it. Zero response (Even negative that would still be understandable). Ignoring many messages.

It's a hostel...so expect some noice from the younger ones.....no lift so u carry your begs.... exercise ur legs before coming here.... Tiny kitchen...just to heat up and go back to ur room....bathroos get crowded sometimes....

Friendly and accommodating staff

The staff are really wonderful ladies both polite very attentive to details and always keep the place very clean. I stayed in a 3 bed room it had single beds and enough space under the bed for storage. The location is good as it is not too far from the main train station. I would highly recommend!

The only problem is the stairs that you have to climb to get to the rooms as there is no one to help with the laggage. I would advice to travel light if possible.

Old town charm with mini terrace, renovated room, great for shoestring budgets

Very central and beautiful old town location, walking distance from the station. Towels included, very responsive and friendly staff at check-in. A mini iron and ironing board is available. Cute little rooftop terrace!

There is a rotten smell near the lower stairs, otherwise clean and organised. The rooms are a little pokey/small but this is common in hostels...there is about 3 square meters of floor space in the kitchen with only a microwave and kettle (no operational stove or oven when I visited).

I chose the room with three beds which I liked better than the larger rooms with more guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and well maintained.

Excellent location.

There are no house rules, or if there are none of the other visitors followed them. Kept up till 4am by people stomping around and turning lights on and off. There is no AC so you leave the windows open which would be fine if not for the people on the streets. I left after the first night.

Comfortable Hostel for 2 nights despite minor hiccups

Was a cute little place. Rooms themselves were quite large and the beds were comfortable. Kitchenette was small but functional. rooms were kept at a very nice temperature. Was very hot outside but the air con was doing a splendid job Host was responsive on messages Felt safe and got through the couple of nights we were there without hassle

The storage lockers in the room aren't overall large. We only had medium sized luggage and they wouldn't have fit. Bathrooms were very steamy, you'd be sweating straight away after your shower, so just a small lack of ventilation Stairway up the building is very steep, wasn't an issue generally but with luggage was a little difficult - Given the location of the area, very much not something that can be changed or fixed, more just something to keep in mind depending on who you are traveling with. We did have an issue with the train systems coming in resulting in us having to pay fr10 late check-in (Per Person) but also had to put our sheets and pillow cases on in the dark (23h) as the bed-time is 22h. Potentially felt like the late check-in payment should've meant that was done for us as we did have to struggle on squeaky bunk beds avoiding waking other people.

Great location and staff - but facilities were not good. No elevator!

The only positive thing about this hostel was the kind yet serious staff, who helped me store my luggage on the first day.

This hostel is located in a good area. But the type of building was very strange. I had to carry one of my suitcases up 4 floors without an elevator. And it was very hard and tiring on those small and narrow stairs. There weren't enough bathrooms in this hostel. I waited 30 minutes for the bathrooms to empty before going to bed.

Nice hostel to spend the night

The room and bathrooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable. There are lockers available in the room. The check in and check out processes were the easiest possible. The location was really great, right in the old town, and easily accessible by tram from the main station as well, if needed. The kitchen was tiny but had everything I needed to prepare my meal.

My room was 5 steep floors up, it was a whole lot of stairs and no elevator, so be prepared especially if you are carrying a big suitcase, because the stairwell is narrow. There is no common room, so we have to hang out in our room, there is no other place to be. This meant that I could not call my family and friends, because I had no place where I could make some noise. There was no shelf by the bed (top bunk) to put my glasses, phone, etc.

The hostel was decent, well-equipped with facilities and located very well in the city centre. The overall cleanliness was impressive, good value for money.

The check-in time is after 16:00, and there is no lobby or waiting area, so you cannot drop your luggage. Checking in before this time requires you to pay extra 10 CHF

Hidden Gem in Altstadt center

Excellent location, 3 bed room was spacious. Everything was super clean and quiet during the night.

The twisting staircase has mostly very tiny, and carrying a suitcase larger than fits in an airplane is very challenging given the width of stairs. The entrance sign to the hostel is not visible; only the word Hostel above the entrance door.

The hostel is in the heart of Zurich, it's worthy. Comfortable bed, beautiful place, the woman in reception is so gentil

The kitchen is pretty small, there is no living room or a place to eat and spend time. I tried to leave my luggage in the hostel before my check in and nobody open the door or answer my calls

Cute little hostel - not too far from Zurich HBF

Lovely little hostel, good location, very clean! Stayed in the room of three and although there were no curtains around the beds, I didn't feel too exposed. Bathroom was nice and clean. Great for a one night stay!

It says there are some stairs - there are quite a lot of very thin spiral staircases with steep steps (not necessarily a negative but definitely something you should know). Kitchen was a little bit run down, and really only the kettle and microwave worked (again, that was all I needed, but something to know).

Amazing time in Zurich

Central location , 10 mins walk from Zurich Hbf. Lovely views of the lake. The owner/manager lady was the nicest human i met- always helpful. Yes her english isn’t perfect but she always used translate to communicate. She was supportive in laundry even when i came in early and exhausted i was able to check in with a fee of 10CHF. Before I arrived i got a message saying no elevators which was good to know- thank God my luggage wasn’t too big. Place is always clean cause the manager/owner is always cleaning it

No elevators obviously which means great workout. Fewer bathrooms so i bet in the summer it would be rough since more tourists. The security seems a bit bizarre where only one code to the door so indeed if you’ve stayed at the hostel before you could get in. A weird looking guy with long hair who doesn’t stay in the hostel used the showers- as I was leaving the fourth floor dorm he was so rude saying « Go, go don’t look at me » as pissed as i was i said i don’t want to look at your ugly self. Disclaimer : i didn’t tell the nice lady at reception- so if you see this- you did an amazing job (i just hope the security is better where I don’t have to see random non-guests using the facilities for free when we paid much per night
