Beautiful Stay, but Mind the Noise and Access

Good location, friendly very polite staff and clean place.

The property is a bit tucked away and difficult to reach by car. Some taxis may drop you off a short distance away, so be prepared to carry your luggage for the final stretch. You’ll hear the local bells ringing very loud frequently throughout the day and night. While it adds a traditional feel, the sound is quite prominent. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this is something very important to keep in mind.

This hotel just made our stay in Zurich much better, with its amazing quality and location.

The room is very modern, with a lot of automation and you are able to control different aspects of it. The room and the bathroom were very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was so tidy and clean. Hotel employees were attentive and welcoming. They helped us with different needs, like setting up the visit at the Lindt museum and with advices on where to eat and visit. We had such a great time there.

There wasn’t a single thing that we didn’t like.

Location and rooms itself were perfectly fine.

Breakfast was very poor. And they charged me 200 euro security deposit and I asked them if I can pay cash. They said no. These security deposit never came back to me. I already send them email and till today after 2 months no one replied

Fantastic location in the old town, surrounded by many restaurants — perfect for fully experiencing the spirit of the city.

I stayed here in July and, unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning in the rooms was difficult to cope with — the fans didn’t help much, which sadly affected my stay.

Excellent location and service, but rooms lack temperature regulation

Location, location, location. Great restaurants right the doorstep of the entrance, and perfectly located to explore shops and sightseeing via foot. Despite some shortcomings on temperature regulation (during summer), the hotel's excellent location and great service truly made it shine. The reception staff tried their very best to make us comfortable despite not having any air-conditioning in the sweltering heat of summer (due to building codes in heritage buildings) and gave us different room options to consider. Shoutout to the hotel's bellhop, who seemed genuinely happy to assist whenever he can and always with a big smile on his face. Thank you!

I wish we knew before we booked that: - there is no air-conditioning in the rooms (so you might want to consider booking this hotel during summer) - opening windows to cool the room is not advisable as the hotel is sandwiched between two clock / church towers which chime very loudly every half hour + hour throughout the night. However, soundproof window panels + earplugs provided are sufficient for decent sleep but may not be great for light sleepers

Great Hidden Gem in the heart of Zurich

The hotel is in a perfect location. Within the old city walls, close to Paradaplatz Square, the Lake, Banhhofstrassen and less than 10 minute walk to the Train station. The rooms were comfortable and of a good size. The bed was very comfortable.

Another amazing stay!

This is one of my favourite hotels in Zurich. It is my go-to place when I am here. The hotel is ideally situated close to Bahnhofstrasse and Paradaplatz square, and it is also within walking distance of both the lake and the train station. The staff is terrific. Very friendly and accommodating. They all made me feel like I have a home away from home.

This does not apply to me, but if you are driving, no parking is available directly at the hotel. The nearest parking is about a 7-minute walk. But, like I say to anyone visiting Switzerland, you don't need a car. Switzerland is the only country I visit regularly, and I have never found the need to rent a car.

Great Location at Old Town

Location is the best. Room is quite big for 2 persons. Many eateries around. We ate at the opposite restaurant Le Relais De I’Entrecote . “Entrecôte an exquisiter Sauce”. They only have 1 menu. “Entrecôte an exquisiter Sauce”. Beef with French fries or salads It was very good. Highly recommended.

This is the second time for me in this hotel The location is great the staff are very nice and they help you with anything we need the rooms are very clean and the breakfast is good

One thing because the hotel in the center it’s difficult to drive to it in the beginning but once you know how to reach it for loading and unloading your baggage it will be easy and they will help you with that and they will give you discount for the barking which is 7 minutes a walk
