Tirso de Molina I - 3 dormitorios, 2 baños

Posizione eccellente, metro a 2 minuti a piedi. Appartamento comodo e confortevole.

Onestamente non aver trovato né anche una bottiglia d acqua all arrivo.. Ma parlando con altri turisti abbiamo capito che è così dappertutto.

Convenient, clean, updated, spacious

Fantastic location, we could walk to pretty much everything and everywhere. A couple of fantastic cares just a few meters away- Cafe Lula and Caravan. Three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms made everything easy. Nice and clean, heating was good (winter stay). Communication was easy with the owners. Beds were quite soft, which I don’t mind, but others may not like. The “master” bedroom was actually the smallest room, but had the ensuite. Bathrooms are fairly recently renovated.

Quite cramped in the master, but if you are coming with friends the other 2 bedrooms are a really good size, so I guess it evens things up! There was (what I suspect) an air conditioner that went all night from another unit that kept sounding like a washing machine going on spin cycle. The hot water tank isn’t large, so hair washing had to be staggered! Only air conditioner is in the lounge so I’m not sure how cool the bedrooms would be in summer.

The area is really great, you are just 5 minutes walk from Puerta del Sol and all the Madrid downtown is at a walkable distance. That's the main good thing about this apartment. It's quite and warm. The building door is opening through app and the door with code which makes it comfortable if you are staying for few people to coordinate.

The apartment is old, some doors are not closing or are hard to close and open which makes it difficult specially if you are staying with kids. The equipment is very basic and the service very low. For 6 nights the towels were not changed, we got just 4 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people. Coffee machine is available, but there is not coffee, sugar or salt. Only one washing detergent dose was left and just a little bit of washing liquid. That makes it again uncomfortable when you are travelling with kids. The level of cleanliness is also not great. The most uncomfortable was the water heater which I think has some kind of a problem as if 2 people take a shower in a roll for 3 minutes, the hot water is over. When I called the stuff they told me that we should be taking really quick showers. For 6 nights stay all my requests which were very basic like towels and sheets changing, coffee, etc.. were rejected with the explanation that this an apartment and not a hotel. I stayed at apartments many times not with the idea that are cheaper then hotels, but because they make you feel more comfortable and give you that home feeling while you are away, but this apartment is missing that part as it really provides the very basic and it seems that they are not willing to improve.
