Pudding Cottage in Bakewell

Great location just a short walk up a hill from the centre of Bakewell, well appointed and comfortable

Outside space very small, but that really is a minor point and the only thing I could find fault with

It is a few minutes walk down the hill into Bakewell . The house was well equipped. It is petite but sufficient room for a couple.

Steep stairs and the bathroom downstairs. Parking difficult but pn street parking possible in Yeld Road further up the hill.

The location is great

The living room is quite small

Location was superb - cottage was warm and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Cooking equipment was fine.

It would have been helpful to have been told where the designated parking areas were prior to the stay so we could have parked there straight away rather than have to park on a yellow line while obtaining a map from the cottage. The cottage itself was ok, sofa and chairs a bit uncomfortable and we were not left enough washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets for the duration of our stay and no cleaning cloths were left so we were unable to clean the work surfaces before preparing food. If people are expected to bring their own cleaning materials it would be helpful if they could be told this in advance.
