Perfect location with a great view and only a couple of minutes walk into the centre of Bakewell. The cottage had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean.

It was a lovely barn, plus the upside of the bedrooms being downstairs is they stayed cool despite the heatwave! It’s in a great location for both Bakewell and exploring the Peak District, although is up a steep hill from the town centre (not an issue for us). The parking space was plenty big enough for our big SUV but definitely need to be confident about reversing with the lanes. The little courtyard garden was secure so we could leave the door open for our dog to go in and out.
Kitchen didn’t have salt/pepper/oil so if you plan on cooking I recommend bringing some with you ☺️

Dog friendly, Beautifully appointed & Great quiet location with fantastic view & 5 min walk to town centre
Only one parking space but took advice given & parked 2nd car in Yeld street 5-10 min walk - didn’t need it for stay so worked okay.
