About this cottage rental

The cottage is located on Butts Road, next to Bakewell Medical Centre, within seconds walking distance of Bakewell town centre.

The cottage has a cosy, snug living room with a log fire & large kitchen area with dining table.

The kitchen comes supplied with everything you need for your stay such as microwave, hob & oven, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine & cooking utensils.

The lounge has a TV with Freeview & Netflix, and a Bluetooth speaker in the lounge for your required entertainment.

Bedroom One - King-size bedroom
Bedroom Two - Twin bedroom (beds can be pushed together)
Bedroom Three - Double bedroom (not suitable for children)

One upstairs family bathroom - with shower, separate bath, toilet, basin & heated towel rail.

We provide hand soap, one toilet roll and an anti-slip bath mat.

Bath and hand towels and fresh linen are also provided.

There is a pretty, tiered patio area to the rear of the property, which provides a table for four people & a mini putting green.

There is also a washing line for use in the warmer weather.

Gorgeous cottage and great location. Immaculately clean and well appointed. We had a very comfortable stay. For other guests to be aware of as we had more than one car parking was a bit of an issue as the town car parks have restrictions on the length of time you have to park. It took a bit of juggling but we worked it out in the end. The breakfast was a welcome bonus and we would have been happy with the price without this being included but we did enjoy buying extras from the shop!

Bakewell is lovely, the cottage had everything we needed and done! Lovely to have breakfast provided and the welcome pack was welcome!! Thought of everything.

The cottage was beautiful and had everything we required for the stay. Having breakfast provided was a bonus. The biggest disappointment and inconvenience was the parking situation and the inability to drop off outside the cottage. The lane was very narrow and there was limited space to turnaround without causing obstruction. The walk to the car park was ok but only one space. The local car park was fine but required topping up as there was a cap on the number of hours you could park at certain times. We left on the Sunday evening as parking in the local car park was restricted on a Monday early due to market so didn’t get the long weekend we had intended. Car parking was a bit of a preoccupation that was unwelcome. Bakewell is delightful, friendly and welcoming to people and pets alike.The staff in the Bakewell Pudding shop were great hosts and couldn’t do enough for us when we attended for breakfast. We would come back but the car park situation needs to be better explained as had we been a family with children it would have created a sour start to the trip.

Perfect cottage for exploring Bakewell and surrounds.Beautifully presented and very well equipped.Loved the welcome basket and breakfast each morning at the original Bakewell Pudding Shop.Highly recommended.

The cottage is lovely and cosy, very well equipped and the kitchen/dinning area is a very sociable space. There were a few little things missing which were needed like wood burner tools and speaker but we have fed this back to the owners. The breakfast at The Old Pudding Shop was fabulous and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We would definitely return.

This is a fabulously located, well-appointed and equipped cottage 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bakewell. The staff in the Pudding Shop who checked us in were fabulously helpful and informative. The staff in the Pudding Shop restaurant also were very attentive, kind and helpful and the fact that breakfast was included in the rental was very welcome!! Even the dog had a sausage and a drink every day. We would recommend this rental for anyone wishing to explore the Peak District and explore the local trail walks literally from your doorstep, staying in a home from home.
