We had a wonderful time , the accommodation was fantastic and Bakewell is a wonderful place to stay.

It lives up to its name it is a cosy cottage , lovely and warm when we arrived , clean and nicely decorated. We relaxed immediately and with it being so close to town we were able to stroll into Bakewell and start to enjoy our break. Thank you for the goodies that you left to welcome us.

Very comfortable, well stocked cottage in the perfect location and great value for money.

Everything. The cottage was very clean and extremely well stocked, and with a nice welcome basket. The beds were the so comfortable with crisp white linen and cosy duvets. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was warm and perfect for evenings after a long walk. The hall is great for walking gear . Lots of good quality towels . Within walking distance of the town with its interesting shops and lovely cafés, as well as long walks in the countryside. We were delighted with this characterful cottage which was also great value for money. Easy to contact the very helpful hosts. We are already planning a return.

Ahead of arrival , I was advised exactly what to do by the host in relation to dropping off bags and parking. This was very helpful. We had 3 cars arriving at different times and one permit to park . Yeld Road (free parking) is very close - just very busy at schooltime. All was well, and once we got sorted, we never moved our cars (we used Yeld Road and Church Lane for the permit) for the full stay.

Everything we wanted it to be!

Excellent location just a five minutes walk to the town centre. The cottage was clean and comfortable, which was lovely to come home to after a days walking. The hosts provided excellent facilities including a welcome pack and a free parking permit, plus a bottle of Prosecco and homemade cookies! Would highly recommend and hope to come back at a later date!

Clean and everything we needed was there. Quality of bed linen was good and mattresses etc.

Not really a dislike, but could have done with another toilet as there were 6 of us, but not a problem. Also parking as we had 2 cars. However, there are some things that you cannot change and did not spoil our stay.

The cottage was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything that was needed for our stay. The welcome pack and small details made a big difference in making us feel welcome. Parking was a bit tricky but once mastered it was ok

Beautiful cottage for family with plenty of room for 3-4 adults and 1-2 kids. Great location close to groceries, restaurants and town centre. Lovely decoration and kids loved the toys and board games.

Ace location. Cottage is of a high standard and has everything you need. A good nights sleep and lovely welcome hamper. Not much more you could want.

Relaxing short break which was enjoyed by all

Good location and great base for exploring the surrounding areas Comfortable , cosy and clean. The hosts provided a hamper of essentials (bread, milk , jam) plus home made biscuits and some Prosecco- very thoughtful and a lovely treat.

Perfect house for a relaxing break :)

Excellent location, extremely clean and well stocked house, good value for money. I had a little difficulty locating the property but was able to contact the host by phone without issue and they kindly guided me there. There was a welcome pack including home made biscuits, bread, milk and a bottle of prosecco. The house was warm and clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. Thanks to the hosts!

The wi-fi is a little slow, and the bedrooms at the front are right on the road so there is traffic noise, so bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The bathroom window didn't open but there is an extractor fan. All really minor things that didn't impact our stay at all.
