We had a fantastic stay, plenty of room for 6 ladies celebrating a 60th birthday.

Exceptional property, immaculately decorated, furnished and maintained.

Ideally situated very near to shops, cafes and restaurants in Bakewell, however quiet and with parking spaces, which are essential for its location. The Woodward is recommended for eating out, literally over the road and round the corner, with an expansive menu, good service and 10% discount for guests staying at Millstone Mews, we did have to book to secure a table.

Wonderful stay in Millstream Mews

Location superb. 5 minute flat walk into centre of Bakewell. Apartment very clean. Onsite manager very helpful (even helped me carry my bags to the apartment). Everything provided, a real home from home. Has private parking. Certainly one of the best places I have stayed. Would 100 per cent return if in the vicinity.

Being picky. The very hot towel rail in one of the two ensuite bathrooms (the one with the shower) was hard to avoid coming against it (I put a towel over it and that worked). There is also a switch on the wall outside the bathroom to turn it off. The other bathroom (the one with the bath) has a hand held shower on the bath taps. Make sure if going to run the bath the plunger for the shower is in the off position or you will be hit with a shower spray! Instructions for the central heating (couldn't figure this out), washing machine and dishwasher would be helpful.

Big apartment, helpful host, clean and very warm

Host met us. Lovely big apartment. Bit sparse on decor but nice and clean and brilliant for getting into the centre of Bakewell. Friendly host and all the facilities and crockery etc you would need for a long stay. Also the price was halved in January so that helped! And it has underfloor heating which is fabulous!

My bathroom door didn't shut properly and some of the lights were a bit sporadic. It's also right next to a livestock market and the sheep are sometimes being moved into a lorry which I found a little upsetting but probably not an issue for most people.

Home away from home

We were greeted by Richard who showed us to the mews apartment, our first reaction was ‘wow’. It was an amazing space to stay in, so comfortable, very modern and spacious with excellent facilities and mod cons. Great shower, spacious bathroom. Extremely comfortable sofa, warm and cosy. Beds were very comfortable with choice of pillows, excellent. Amazing location. Highly recommend.

Lovley apartment and beautiful surroundings.

Lovley apartment, nice and cosy. Beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious and great on suite too. Shops and restaurants are just over the bridge a few minutes walk. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful. Perfect for us seeing in 2026. We would go back. 🥰

The sofa, it was too low and soft so it was really hard for me to get up off of it due to my disability. The other apartments had much better ones. Stair carpet had alot of pulls on it, it wasnt an issue, just for what we paid over £700 for 3 nights, you'd think it would of been replaced as the rest of the apartment was great. Rug in the living room moved easily, I had to be careful.

Lovely clean space perfect for a family break.

Really clean place with plenty of space for all 8 of us. Love the fact each room has en-suite. It was very cozy and warm inside even though there was snow outside. I really enjoyed our stay and the owners were nice and attentive.

My only suggestion would be shower gel and shampoo in the bathrooms.

Snowy weekend in bakewell

The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. Richard was very helpful and check in was easy. Location is very central to everything. Will definitely stay again.

Disappointed as wanted a hassle free relaxing break

location was brilliant and furnished to a very high standard

There was an issue with the electrics - when using the kitchen they kept tripping - did appreciate this happened over the new year but effectively unable to use the appliances - it was fixed on the last night of a 4 day state - when I broached the idea of compensation with the owner which was mentioned to me via text by the property manager - she declared the problem was an act of God and as we were offered to use a kitchen in another apartment for1 night and offered a bottle of prosecco- that was enough. I explained that I didn't get what I paid for - she responded shouting as she walked down the stairs - you will get nothing and you can write what you like on booking.com. To be honest think.99.9% of people who use these apartments will be pleased - however her total disregard for customer service when something goes wrong for me is appalling.

Fabulous apartment in a great location.

What impressed us first was the very warm welcome we received from Richard. I rang to let him know when we'd arrived, and to check on parking. He arrived moments later, greeted us all with a welcoming handshake, explained where we could park, and showed us up to the apartment. He then showed us how to adjust the heating and explained one or two things. The apartment itself was amazing. We were a party of 2 couples, meeting up to celebrate the New Year. Each couple had a lovely, well equipped bedroom with plenty of storage space (and coat hangers!), a hair dryer in each bedroom, and a bathroom each. The beds were super comfy! The kitchen area was very spacious and well equipped. There was a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee maker. There was plenty of crockery, glassware, cutlery, pans, etc, and we were provided with tea & coffee, salt & pepper, dishwasher tablets and washing liquid. The lounge area had a large, comfy corner sofa and a good sized tv. The underfloor heating kept the apartment lovely and warm - much appreciated as it was below freezing when we were there! The whole apartment was finished to a very high spec. The location was perfect. Just a short walk, across the little bridge over the river to a good selection of shops, bars, and restaurants to choose from. We took a meal to eat in on the first night, ate out at Raja's Indian restaurant on NYE, and had a Chinese takeaway from the Eastern Court on our 3rd night. Both fully recommended. All in all, we had a wonderful time, and would absolutely recommend Millstream Mews to anyone. *Note: we were in a penthouse apartment, with quite a few steps up to it, which was fine for us but might not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

Beautiful apartment

Beautiful apartment! Two large bedrooms with loads of cupboard and drawer space and we found the beds exceptionally comfortable. Loved the ceiling windows. Although there were blinds, we loved being able to see the stars from our bed. There was one ensuite shower room and the other bedroom had a large bathroom. The lounge /kitchen was lovely. High airy ceilings made it light but underfloor heating made it cosy. The kitchen was fitted with high quality Neff appliances including fridge freezer, dish washer and washing machine. It lacked nothing. Over all, a lovely apartment, with private parking, in a great setting -the village centre is literally a minute's walk away. Highly recommend!

The lounge sofas were uncomfortable as too big and too low,in one of the bedrooms the bathroom door hinge was loose and no remote for the tv also down stairs toilet door handle was loose .also it would have been nice to have had a dish cloth and a extra tea towel very

Great space for a group to cook, eat and socialise and then get a great night's sleep.

Great location: in Bakewell with parking. Soft, comfortable beds in 3 ensuite rooms. Excellent ecooking, eating, lounging set up. Great for weekend away wiht friends.

Minor points for future reference: some light switches were confusingly sited or a bit unreliable. not sure how to receycle, especially glass.

A beautiful residence in the perfect spot to enjoy Bakewell and surrounding area

The apartment was perfect for our group of four ladies with four en-suite rooms, large lounge and kitchen diner. Very well equipped with a high standard of cleanliness, comfortable beds and excellent location. Provision was made for all of our cars having all travelled separately which was greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi kept dropping out and three of us were unable to get any signal at all on our phones which was rather inconvenient. Also we discovered by accident that the gate to the complex is closed and locked at night which would not have been a problem had we been informed on how to access - but if we had all gone out for the evening it would have been a dilemma, perhaps an oversight during our check in that should be emphasized.

Great location and large property with en suite in all rooms. Large spacious kitchen and parking for one space. House is situated next to the town centre, walking distance to shops and facilities.

An excellent location as we were looking specifically to stay in this part of Bakewell. Clean and modern apartment. Warm.

No views unless you were tall enough to stand at a velum. No lift and despite arriving before 4.00, no-one to assist us up the stairs. The vacuum cleaner was unusable the roller being clogged with hair.

Wow in the heart of Bakewell

Fabulous location. Just 2 minutes from the centre of Bakewell. Great to have 2 parking spaces directly at the door. Place was well appointed and spotless. Good to have a downstairs WC and both bedrooms ensuite. Looking to book next trip.

Coffee machine water holder was broken. Perhaps spares of things like this would be useful. Was able to still use the machine though with just small amounts of water.
