Lovely, warming and comfortable.

The property has everything you need, beds are comfortable, kitchen is clean and has everything required to cook a meal. Shower is lovely and powerful. Added touch was the fire was ready for use and gave a lovely comforting feeling.

Nothing bad but would benefit from a welcome pack maybe to suggest where to eat locally, WiFi password, recycling requirements etc.

Lovely, cosy cottage in a fabulous location.

Fabulous location. Just a few minutes walk down hill to the main town. Lovely views of the church & countryside from main bedroom windows. Parking permit was a plus. The cottage is warm and cosy - central heating works well- also a log burner in the lounge which was very welcome. Sofas were comfortable and the sky TV worked well (the batteries in the remote control may need replacing though). Bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. Plenty of towels too. The range type cooker in the kitchen was a pleasure to use. There were 2 fridges (one with a small ice box) which was a bonus as it meant plenty of space for food as well as for chilling dinks). Plenty of crockery, drinking glasses and oven ware. It was pleasing that we were given more than 1 tea towel to use and that adequate toilet rolls were there for our full stay. It was lovely to have a dishwasher but unfortunately the door wouldn't close so was unable to use. Good communication with the owner. Would definitely stay again.

The kitchen could have been a little better equipped - there weren't any small/prep kitchen knives for chopping fruit/veg/salad and no kitchen scissors or a spatula/turner for the frying pan. There weren't any instructions re what to do with the rubbish and recycling.

Excellent stay in a comfortable Cottage and well placed in Bakewell, and was comfortable and warm

communication with the host was fine to pick up the keys. The cottage was clean and warm and had everything we needed. It is situated 10 minutes from the town centre so was quite which aided with a good nights sleep in comfortable beds.

The cottage was very close to the town centre. Kitchen was well equipped and biscuits left on arrival. Main bedroom mattress was too firm for me so swapped with my friend to the other room. That mattress was a lot softer and perfect for me. Lovely shower and bathroom. Sofa was comfy. Sky TV and WiFi. The property does not have a garden but does have a little garden room which is attached to the back of the property. A parking permit was left for us for to use. Sometimes easy to park sometimes not. Always found a space eventually. Friendly neighbour!

Bakewell was very nice, accommodation not acceptable

The beds were clean and comfortable

No smoke or heat detectors in the property and only one entry/exit as unable to open front door. The shower didnt’t keep temperature and the noise from the banging pipes was deafening. The furniture downstairs was drab and in need of a complete makeover. Windows were filthy and covered in cobwebs and dead flies on cills in glass porch. The property was not very clean throughout. Spotlight hanging from housing in Lounge.

Ideal!

The cottage was cosy and clean. Perfect location, quiet but very central with lovely neighbours. It has all the comforts and maintains a perfect warmth. I found the car pass essential and parking nearby quite easy. Highly recommended!"

The only way to get in touch with the host is via mobile phone. They were very responsive and helpful, but I would have also liked the option to have direct WhatsApp/Email contact.

Exceptional

Excellent property just what we needed for a rest and recharge. Easy walk into Bakewell for shops and pubs. Property was cosy and warm with a log burner and everything we needed was available. We will rebook in the future and come back to the same property thank you

Fijne cottage

De locatie, twee goede bedden, mooi uitzicht, prima keuken. Hout voor de open haard, lekker warm. Eigenaar goed bereikbaar en behulpzaam. Ligt aan steile weg maar is slechts 100 meter , mooi dicht bij de winkels en restaurants

Pech gehad met de douche, die overigens erg goed was. Knop ging heel stroef maar daar komt een loodgieter voor.
