We loved the 2 balconies, the quiet, the views both of the church and the Cathedral. When we arrived there was chamber music quartet playing at a small, private reception in the courtyard next door - the music was beautiful. We loved listening to the church bells (not loud, though) and the birds singing. The apartment was full of light, even on dreary days. We loved that the apartment was in a pedestrian area, full of restaurants, le Marché Couvert, the Cathedral. Everything was within walking distance. We ubered to the train station and trained to Verdun.
Potential guests should realize that the apartment is on the top floor (3ème étage), which is the 4th floor. We liked this but not everyone would want to do the steps.
Suggestions: Have a covered pail for food compost and a bag for glass bottles and a bag for other recyclables and then just a small trash container. Kleenex, paper towels and paper napkins should be added.

The location was fantastic - everything was walkable. The apartment had everything we needed - super comfortable, spacious and really beautiful. The host was wonderful. A really great experience and we would highly recommend it!

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön gelegen, bietet ausreichend Platz für zwei Personen und war sauber. Sie ist schön hergerichtet, aber wenn man vor Ort ist lässt sich der Altbau nicht leugnen. Die beiden gegenüberliegenden Balkone sind sehr schön zu den unterschiedlichen Tageszeiten.
Die Schlüsselübergabe/Anreise war sehr kompliziert. Um in das Gebäude zu gelangen, muss man vor der Tür die Anbieterin anrufen, die dann per Fernschaltung die Tür öffnet. An der nächsten Tür gibt man dann einen Code ein. Dann geht es in den obersten Stock. Mit einem weiteren Code kann man den Schlüsselkasten öffnen und hält dann den Schlüssel in der Hand.
Leider hatten wir zwei mal Stromausfälle. Nachdem wir uns auf die Suche nach dem Problem gemacht haben, ist und aufgefallen, dass bei einer Außensteckdose die Abdeckung gefehlt hat und so Wasser eindringen konnte. Wir haben dann eine Mülltüte rumgewickelt und die Steckdose getrocknet. Dann hatten wir unsre Ruhe. Das Problem hätte man definitiv schon vorher erkennen und beheben können. Sehr schade!
