What is there not to like; the flowers, the view, the long table outside where guests and hosts sit together, the hike advice from the host, the spacious room, and the one thing that tops this all: the out of this world breakfast! A feast to the eye and mouth!
Bathroom is very small, but clean and practical. And the room was beautiful and spacious so in the end this is really not an issue at all. The hike up to the property from the town is challenging - and that’s even with trained legs.

De warme, hartelijke gastvrouw, die betrokken was bij alles wat we deden en ons altijd bijstond met raad en daad. Haar tips waren goud waard! Het fantastische en zeer uitgebreide ontbijt, dat met veel liefde artisanaal werd bereid. De smaakvolle inrichting van de kamers en terrassen met zin voor détails.

Breakfast was really amazing! I haven't had such before. There were many kinds of fruits (all you can see on marketplace), breads (the best was made by Sabine), spreads, cheeses, hams, fresh juice, vegitable. You could chose what kind of eggs you want to prepare. All ingredients were local 🙂 we took such great breakfast outside on terrace and eat with nice view of the Funchal city, ocean and hills ❤️
