we were upgraded to a family suit at the top of the building, spacious, sea and pool views but an odd shaped room.
Great location above Old town with restaurants with easy walk to main tourist areas in Funchal.

This is a great option for a stay in Funchal. A spectacular view from the terrace across the harbour.
Staff extremely friendly and competent. The food is good (but not spectacular) at reasonable prices.
It does not have children's facilities - possibly more suitable for adults.
The rooms are clean and well maintained.
