Great location and very helpful staff. We had the breakfast 2 of the mornings and really enjoyed it. There is also a great bar/restaurant across the street with ocean views that never had a wait plus it was super affordable.

The walls are paper thin and we were kept up by noisy neighbors having sex late into the night. You could literally hear a plastic bag move in the room next door.

We had a wonderful stay at Victorian Côrte Guesthouse! Graça was incredibly lovely, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Funchal and just a short walk from the waterfront, making it easy to explore the city. We also appreciated having parking available, which is a huge plus in Funchal. One of our favorite parts was hearing the story behind the guesthouse and learning that it has been in Graça’s family for generations. That personal touch made our stay feel even more special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming, family-owned place to stay in Madeira!

I loved so much about the guesthouse: Sara could not possibly have been more welcoming and the location in the Old Town was great for me. Easy checkin, simple bag storage so I could fully enjoy my departure day and a wonderful room and views! The fact that it was Sara’s grandparents’ home before becoming a guesthouse made the charm all the greater to me!

It’s a bit of an older home, so the usual squeaks and squawks, but nothing that stood out as wrong.

I loved the flora, the fauna, the landscapes, the gardens, the swimming, levadas, tours, delphine watching and people on the island. I loved the guesthouse I stayed in and all the people working there. I loved the location, I loved the guesthouse, the breakfasts, the views, the closeness to the cable car, to the Farmers' Market and the sea and the beach, and the wonderful atmosphere of the old town I stayed in.
