Warton Retreat

Comfortable bed, great size TV. Quiet cul de sac, easy check in key safe. Exceptionally clean, Toiletries provided.. Handy fridge, kettle , coffee etc . Washing machine & microwave as you walk in at the foot of the stairs. Location to the pub 🍻 Warton Arms you can see the car park from the bathroom window.. & they do very good food. Dog Friendly too.

I think the description on booking .com is a little misleading, if I hadn't read reviews I assumed it was an entire apartment. It says Kitchen, there isn't a kitchen, so don't expect plates cutlery etc.. Would have liked a rail in the staircase. A socket near a mirror, managed to use our extension leads to reach the big mirror but as soon as i turned the hairdryer on , the smoke alarm went off, the windows were all open too. For one night it was absolutely fine.

We were visiting friends for a party in Beverley. Warton Retreat is a really nice place with friendly and accommodating owners. The accommodation is a great place in a quiet location. There is a nice pub just round the corner, a shop 2 mins away and a short drive into the lovely market town of Beverley.

Overall, a decent sized accommodation. Comfortable bed. Perfect location for us.

The bathroom extractor fan is linked to the door (not the light switch). Maybe consider changing? Didn't affect our stay though.

Host was fantastic. The room was top spec
