The private community boasts two excellent golf courses and 2 1/2 miles of beach. There are several restaurants in the community. Miles of bike trails run through Wild Dunes. Additional Amenities Include: - High speed internet with Wi-Fi. - Full size washer and dryer. - Parking for three cars. - Linens and bath towels are provided, as well as starter supplies including soap, shampoo and paper products. Ideally located, this beach house on the Isle of Palms is an easy drive to Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant and Historic Charleston. Sullivan’s Island (7 miles) features Fort Moultrie and wonderful dining options along Middle Street. In Mount Pleasant (8 miles), your family will want to visit Boone Hall Plantation with its avenue of oaks, the USS Yorktown, Town Center shopping and the restaurants lining the shrimp docks on Shem Creek. Finally, Historic Charleston (17 miles) is the number one tourism destination in the United States and offers some of the world’s finest restaurants, galleries, historic homes and gardens. All this and more await you in the jewel of South Carolina's Lowcountry. *Home Truths:* - City Ordinances prohibit house parties, weddings, or receptions to take place at a licensed vacation rental property. If a house party, wedding, or reception takes place in a licensed vacation rental property, all guests will be required to immediately vacate. - Boat trailers are not allowed inside Wild Dunes. If you are bringing a boat, you must find parking for the trailer and take the boat in via the Intracoastal Waterway. - The dock has space for a 30' boat. - You must be 25 years or older to book this home. - The Morgans Cove pool is unheated and is open April 1 – October 31 from 8:00 AM to dusk. The pool deck is open in the off season. - Street-legal golf carts (LSVs) are permitted in this neighborhood. However, no trailers are allowed in the resort, so golf carts must be rented locally and cannot be brought from home. Please contact a local rental agency such as Just Beachy Carts (JustBeachyCarts.com) for more information. - The closest golf cart parking to the beach inside Wild Dunes is located on Summer Dunes Lane and Island Cottage Lane. - Beach chairs/toys are not included at this property. All reservations between 4-28 nights come with a $250 beach gear credit with VaykGear.com. Guests will be able to reserve gear after booking. - Please note that Early Check-In (ECI) and Late Check-Out (LCO) services are not available from May to September. - Unfortunately, pets and ESAs are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed animals are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet. - This home offers a propane grill. - Fireplaces are not for guest use. - Trailers and motorcycles are not allowed inside Wild Dunes. - Guests have access to the Morgan Place pool, and to the cafes and restaurants at Wild Dunes. Any other amenities or recreation at Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis or the spa, must be booked separately. - Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. We are not able to guarantee identical beach conditions for future stays, and refunds or relocations will not be available due to these natural changes. - While we do our best to communicate any known work within Wild Dunes or nearby beach projects, many homes are privately owned and we are not always notified of surrounding activity. As a result, we are unable to guarantee a disruption-free environment or offer relocation for any unforeseen construction. *Parking Details:* - There are 3 parking spots for this rental. - To gain access to Wild Dunes, the guest will need a car pass. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions. As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
