Dockside Penthouse - Free Parking

The location to shopping and restaurants was good. We were entertained by the ships in front of the property moving logs but at times it was noisy. The kitchen and family room were nice. The deck was nice for views. Free parking was appreciated!

Two of the bathrooms were small and the deck wasn’t suitable to really hang out on. Needed chairs.

The location was well maintained and clean with a nice kitchen ... and while the bathrooms were small, they were remodeled nicely. And while other reviews made us nervous for the location, we found it to be no problem with easy access to restaurants and shopping.

It was warm in Galway while we were visiting so we had to leave the windows open to sleep but the pier noise was terrible ... had we would have been staying more than one night we would have had to leave as no one got any sleep with the boats loading timber all night and scraping huge piles of trash (not only was it loud the smell was also unpleasant). Such a shame because otherwise - maybe with a winter stay we would have given this place a very high rating.

Fantastic location and perfect spacious bedrooms and living areas for our family of four.

Could be a bit noisy with the ships loading wood on the docks.

View and location was great.

If you like loud noises and to be woken up at 5am from a loud tree machine on the docks, then this is the place for you. Would not recommend or visit again.
