Latin Quarter Townhouse

Location was perfect. Right in the heart of Galway City. Pubs and restaurants right outside the door. Plenty of bedrooms and comfortable beds as well as two separate bathrooms. There was six of us there for two nights. Not one issue that would stop us going back.

Its nothing really and did not pact our stay in a negative way but seeing the numbers on the lockbox for the key at 2am was tough!!!!!! Certainly wouldn't stop me going back though!!! It's lively outside the front door so if noise bothers you it could be an issue. It wasn't an issue for our group. NOTHING NEGATIVE TO REPORT.

Great location, really spacious

If you want somewhere really central to all the great venues , this it, however if you want to go to bed early there may be some noise from the local music venues

Construction on the street outside. Leaving earplugs for the guests would be nice.

Not good for anyone with any kind of infirmities. The two bathrooms were , 6 steps down from the bedrooms. Three of the floor bedrooms were on the third floor. There was No air-conditioning, and they would not provide fans, and no hair dryers. I attempted to reach them three different times before they finally responded to the fourth time when I asked for fans. I have never stayed at a booking.com that does not provide Hair dryers!! The kitchen was well stocked with wine glasses and drink, glasses and plates, pots and pans, etc., but no hairdryer? Washing/ dryer was a joke! It took three hours to wash things and then three hours to dry them. They were still damp at the end and we had to hang them over banisters because there were only four hangers in the entire apartment. Tv was not good. The volume needed to be turned up rather high due to of all the street noise and the TV vibrated. Showers were extremely small and it was extremely difficult to manage the temperature on the handles. No matter where you said it, it would either be freezing cold or boiling hot. It was very loud! I read reviews from other people saying that they should leave us earplugs. I didn't think it could be that bad and it was worse. Musicians and partygoers shouting until 3 am then half barrel deliveries at 5 am!😩😡 The windows only opened at the top about 2 inches and since it was 90° with no fans, we wanted to at least get some ventilation, but the street noise was intolerable. It says quiet hours for guests are from 8 PM to 8 AM. That is a complete joke given the noise coming from the street below!

The towels are very small, but every person had two towels. Location was great as far as being in the thick of things and being able to walk everywhere. It was just the noise level at sleeping time that was a problem.
