The location was perfect, walking distance to Eyre Square, shopping - anything we could have wanted!
The ONLY thing that was a hindrance for us - which is really no fault of the property or owners but something to note if you are planning a visit - the first floor bathtub/shower is very difficult to get into if you have any kind of mobility issues. The tub has a very high entrance and our mother (73) had issues getting into and out of the tub safely by herself.

The location was prefect, a really short walk into the centre.
Really not great value for money in my opinion. There was wardrobes in the bedrooms, however, only 1 hanger? 2 out of 3 of the showers were unusable, due to them running off an emersion boiler. I think, in a house that accommodates up to 12 people, it is unreasonable to expect that no body will be running taps in the kitchen or other bathrooms, while waiting for the boiler to heat up. In our case, 10 people had to use the one shower that did have hot water. For the price of the accommodation, the furniture was pretty basic. There was not enough comfortable seating downstairs in the living room for the amount of people that the accommodation houses. In terms of crockery, there was no trays for the oven, I think I counted 9 mugs (not enough for all of us to have a coffee in the morning), the oven was dirty. In terms of bedding, the duvets were very thin, considering we visited in November which is a cold time of the year - none of the radiators were switched on when we arrived in the house either, and so it was very cold. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Galway and stayed in a great location. But for the price we paid, I can’t say the property lived up to expectations.
