The apartment was beautifully fitted out and extremely comfortable. In an old town like Leek, the owners had transformed an old property into beautifully modern apartments and we loved staying there. Ideal! Really convenient and everything you’d need for a short stay!

Lovely property, ideal for short stays, brilliant location. Really well equipped overall! Really couldn’t get a more ideal place for a couple of nights away in Leek. Really friendly host when arriving!

It was a little difficult to get in initially, this was partly due to the fact that it was hammering down with rain when we arrived, and so the Internet connection for the Ring doorbell was affected. Only other ‘note’ would be, it would be really lovely to have some fresh milk in the fridge as opposed to the UHT plastic pots, being as the property does have a fridge this would just be a nicer touch.

Superb location, good value, good facilities & outstandingly clean.

Superb location in the centre of Leek,but amazingly quiet even on a Friday night.Really easy parking directly outside. Very clean. Great facilities. Really appreciated the crisps and the real coffee and biscuits. Lovely luxury towels and comfortable bed.Food truck outside in the morning selling Staffordshire oatcakes was a real bonus.

Slightly too many notices everywhere with rules of the house. Made me a bit anxious and procedure to get in was more high tech than a top security prison.

Superb Stay in Leek!

I was literally in this room to sleep after a wedding nothing overly long etc. But the size of the room was great, plenty of space. The bed was excellent, I tend to struggle sleeping away from home, but no problem this time & woke up rather fresh all considered! The location is absolutely fantastic, on the main strip of all the shops, bars etc. The shower had great pressure. Very clean, plenty of light too.

Very strange not to see a TV, but again - I was literally there to rest my head, so no problem on this occasion, but if I was to stay there for a long weekend etc, I think I would definitely be missing one.

A mixed bag…

Upon arrival, the entire apartment was freezing cold and after a long day traveling all we wanted to do was to put our feet up and relax. The heaters in the apartment were not working for some reason as there was a problem with the boiler, an issue which despite many many phone calls either way was unable to be rectified. The apartment itself was spacious and homely, but lacked a television which I do feel is required nowadays in most places. I cannot fault the owner as she was so helpful, but in the end we had to book a hotel further down the street as it was too cold to stay.

Perfect location. Central to the town for food and drinks. Great to get out into the Peak District for walks

The fridge plugs in next to the sink and the wire has to be across the front of the under sink cupboard which I thought was a bit odd

The room was beautifully decorated and the small kitchen area was a real bonus

The blind in the kitchen area lets the light in There is no plug near a mirror so difficult to do hair/ make up
