The location was very central and good for our stay. The room was nice and clean and spacious.
The mattress was very hard. You could hear noise from other rooms and the street and the room was very light at night due to the curtains. There was also an issue with the fan light which couldn’t be turned on/off by the remote when the hallway light was off which defeated the object.

Good location and comfortable - local parking explained on booking
It would have been good to have some sort of bedside table/ledge - even if it was small - to put phone, drink on

We received no checking in details. Our larger room was unavailable when we turned up and we were offered no compensation. We were advised we would be ‘upgraded’ to room 3 on the top floor and it was not the family room we had booked and paid for. We had to ask for the heating to be turned on - which meant having to go to the boiler room ourselves and adjusting a dial set to 10 degrees. The bathroom was perishing.
