there was no hot water for the duration of our stay and the company who own it kept trying to get me to fiddle with the boiler! They did send someone to try and fiox it but then it just leaked.

The apartment was spacious and clean with a great location, and we appreciated the extra bits to help us get set up: dish soap, coffee, oil.

There were a few significant flaws which made it feel like it was not good value for money, especially as it was our most expensive stay in Portugal. The hot water did not work, so for 4 people we had to shower cold, and even though we contacted the owner the only advice was turn it off and on. Additionally, the electricity fuse box would blow if we used the stove and had lights on. This happened multiple times. These things were manageable but should not occur for the price you pay.

El apartamento es muy lindo y tiene todas las comodidades necesarias para la estadia, muy completo. La ubicación es fantástica, cerca de todo en una calle tranquila y que tiene todo, a pocas cuadras de la plaza. El servicio es muy bueno, tuvimos un inconveniente con el baño y fue solucionado muy rapido por el personal de manteniemiento. Repetiria este apartamento en una futura estadia.

Very spacious

Old showers, the en-suite shower was tiny, with a mouldy shower curtain, that was in such a tight space it kept enclosing on you as you shower. The main bathroom shower had an old shower head, that sprayed water everywhere. It didn’t drain well, so the shower tray filled up and flooded the bathroom if you didn’t turn off shower intermittently. Raised this with the company, sent pics etc but nothing was done to fix it during our stay. The place is in a residential street, so Ubers and taxis cannot take you to the door, you have to walk a steep hill to get there, fine when coming back from a day out, but with luggage and mobility issues, this was very awkward.
