A joyful Balinese experience

The cabins are deep into the green, they’re spacious and the garden of the property is a paradise. The staff took care of us in a wonderful way cooked the best Balinese food I have eaten on the island. Highly recommended.

The only con is that the property is a bit out of hand, so best if you have your own mean of transport because it’s not easy to get around otherwise.

10 out of 10, big recommendation hidden gem! Really really nice place in the nature and super friendly host family. The food there is amazing, they mostly use ingredients they grow around the cabins by them self. Everything tasted really good. The Cabins are nice with privat bathroom and privat fireplace. I will come back for sure. One of my favorite places in bali for sure.

This is a hidden gem of a place. The gardens and grounds are stunning, and the team is very kind and welcoming. Perfect for a secluded stay in nature. One night was not enough!

Personally I prefer natural fiber bedding but otherwise I was very comfortable.

Charming Cabins in a Coffee Plantation

We stayed with our two kids (10 and 8 years old) in a small set of charming cabins run by Yuni and Harry and her lovely Balinese family, right in the middle of a coffee plantation and jungle, surrounded by avocado, papaya, and coconut trees. There are only four very clean cabins, each with a private bathroom and hot water (basic but enough). The food was delicious, prepared with love using fresh fruit and vegetables from their own garden. We all enjoyed the natural swimming pool and the cozy fire at night — a truly special and authentic experience for the whole family.

By far the best place to stay, if you want a quiet, original, natural experience

I stayed here for 3 nights to do a 3 day fasting. And I could not have imagined a better place for this. Harry and Yuni create an experience for their guests, that is very unique. Everything built is handmade, with natural materials, in consideration of preserving the nature, which is very rare nowadays. They take time and care about the guests experience and really helped me to go through my challenge. This place is great to connect with nature. Very calm, far away from the big city and You can even drink water, directly from the source. Every cabin has its own fire place, which makes it super cozy. I came back just to eat all the food that I could not have during my fast and can say - It was worth it. The fruits and vegetables on the menu are all growing right there and Yuni is very skilled in making delicious meals out of it. Even the coffee is from their own land and you can see it grow, before drinking it. Plus I have also met a very interesting and inspiring stranger that I talked to for hours, who did a better job than my therapist. (This is not included in the stay unfortunately). All together an unforgettable experience. Now I am questioning why the hell I am living in Canggu.

The-Perfect-Nature-Getaway just the right distance away from modern Bali.

There are a few quiet places left in Bali that remind you of just how reflective and restorative this island can be - Sanda Eco Cabins is one of those special places. I came up here solo for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The location is nestled up on a small mountain in the jungle. The whole property is one beautifully cultivated garden. The family that operates the space are all super kind and friendly but also seem to understand if you are there for some solitude. I read my face off - it was wonderful. The food at the restaurant is as good as they say in the reviews. Yuni and her family put a lot of time and care into the food they serve. It's also pretty flippin' cool that most of the produce comes from the land - I had an avocado tree right out of my room. I intentionally stayed away from my phone (which was great). I don't have any photos but they wouldn't do the place justice anyway. If you are looking for something quiet outside of Buleland, don't hesitate to book a cabin here. Another random note - I also had very lengthy and interesting conversations with another guest there. Two total strangers from different places on that planet ended up talking for hours about all sorts of personal things. Sanda Eco Cabins brings that sort of thing out of you.

Wonderful place feel so relax

The place is stunning - the cabin are simple but nice. Personnel are friendly and helpful. We can make camp fire at night as it’s fresh. The food was delicious. We enjoy our stay here and definitly we come back with some friends again. Dont miss this relax nature place.

I came to Sanda from Lovina, crossing winding mountain roads in the rain. Despite reading many reviews before booking, and being inspired by one in particular to stay for three nights, I still felt a bit uncertain during the journey. But the moment I arrived, those worries faded. Here, I felt once again the purest form of human trust. Even without speaking the same language, deep connection was possible—through a gesture, a glance, a shared smile. The atmosphere is incredibly calming, and the food gave me real energy, not just physically but emotionally. To be honest, I find it hard to put this experience fully into words. Sanda feels different from anywhere else in Bali. This is not a place for passive tourism—it gently asks something of you too. If you're looking for a space to be still, to read, to think, to meditate, or to unplug from social media and constant feedback, this is a rare and beautiful choice. I spent three days here reading and reflecting, allowing my life to pause. My conversations with Harry gave me a deeper understanding of plants—their fruits, their rhythms, their stories. December is durian season, and I know I will return. Time spent here feels like a gift. I hope you give yourself one too.

Green and peaceful!

We had an amazing stay out in the woods! The Rooms are super cozy and the garden is super lush and well taken care of. Its runned and owned by the family and they are super sweet and professional! Great english and great customer service! They cooked amazing local food! The area is full of bananas, papayas, avocados, coconuts and even pineapples! Highly recommend for a get away. Pure Magic, a Gift for the Soul. I left my heart in this oasis of peace, love, elegance, and harmony. An authentic retreat to refill with the purest life energy. Just go, please, give yourself this gift! The place is nestled in the lush jungle at 900 meters high. I’ve never seen so many butterflies in my life, nor a garden so harmonious and generous, with fruits, vegetables, stunning trees, and vibrant flowers. Dedut and his family have adopted a permaculture approach, and you can feel that harmony in every detail. The view from the bamboo warung is magical. I spent hours just listening to the birds and watching the beautiful panorama. Dedut is a skilled chef, with both passion and training, and every dish is made with fresh organic fruits and vegetables straight from the garden, cooked amazingly by him and his lovely wife. I had, by far, the best food I've ever had in Bali, and this is my fourth time here. The cabins are hidden in the upper garden, peaceful and private, with jungle views and your own bonfire spot. Perfect for quiet nights under the stars. Magical! I feel deeply grateful for the gift of being hosted here. This has been my best stay in Bali, for its authenticity, harmony, beauty, and peacefulness. I left a piece of my heart, and I’ll be back one day. Incredibly peaceful, homey and gorgeous food.

We had a great time meeting Yuni and the family that runs this farm stay. It’s very remote so you’re in for a super cosy and tranquil getaway. The flora and fauna was stunning and the food that Yuni cooked was some of the best I’ve had in Bali. Very interesting to see the coffee and avocado plants, the natural pool was lovely too. It served as a great break from the hustle and bustle.

Little garden Eden

Beautiful place far away from all the busy parts and great starting point to hike up Mount Batukaru. The cabin and bed are comfortable, you can fall asleep with the balcony doors open looking out on the forest and listening to its sound. Beautiful, spacious area with all kinds of hidden corners, every cabin has its own fireplace out front, 2 pools filled with natural water, lovely garden with ponds and all kinds of plants growing, amazing food made using all the ingredients they produce themselves (!!!). Harry and Yuni are the most wonderful hosts I have met in my time as a traveller and will make sure you're more than comfortable and your curiosity to learn about the local culture,food and plants will be more than stilled. Definitely coming back here, thank you for everything!

De enorme gastvrijheid. De gerechten die bereid worden door de gastvrouw zijn geweldig goed! Wij hebben de jungle trekking gedaan en ook dit was een goede ervaring em achteraf kregen we van de gastheer een filmpje van de trekking. Super attent. Ik kan iedereen aanraden hiernaar toe te gaan. Enorme rust en alleen t geluid van de natuur en de vogels.

3 nachten is wel de max want uiteindelijk is er niet heel veel te doen. Maar een dag een scooter huren en door de kleine dorpjes toeren is al echt geweldig.

Une famille vraiment charmante ! Yuni, son mari Harry et les parents de ce dernier ont créé un endroit tout simplement paradisiaque. Le jardin est immense, en pleine forêt luxuriante, et tout est entretenu avec un soin impeccable. Ils cuisinent avec les produits qui poussent directement dans leur jardin : avocats, légumes balinais, café, fruits de la passion, bananes, ananas… tout est absolument délicieux ! Les plats préparés par Yuni sont tout simplement divins — merci Yuni pour ces saveurs incroyables ! Ce que j’ai particulièrement apprécié, c’est leur envie de partager, d’écouter et de raconter leur histoire : d’où ils viennent et comment ils ont réussi à créer ce véritable joyau au cœur de Bali. Ces moments d’échange rendent le séjour encore plus humain et précieux. La passion d’Harry se ressent partout : c’est grandiose ! Les maisons en tipi ont été construites par Harry, sa famille et leurs amis — un travail impressionnant, tout comme l’aménagement du jardin. Leurs deux filles sont adorables et apportent encore plus de charme à ce lieu exceptionnel. Une expérience authentique et inoubliable que je recommande de tout cœur !

Einfach nur wunderschön!

Die Gegend ist unglaublich schön, das Aktivitätsangebot gut, die Familie die die Hütten betreibt unglaublich gastfreundlich, die Hütten selber selbstgemacht, was man qualitätstechnisch teilweise auch sieht aber funktional und gemütlich. Wer eine ruhige, wunderschöne Bleibe sucht mit super Gastgebern außerhalb der Stadt ist hier absolut richtig!

ONE OF THE BEST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN IN BALI

Le domaine ou est situé sanda eco cabins est tout simplement exceptionnel en plein milieu de la nature l'accueil par Yuni son Mari et ses deux petites filles fut merveilleux d'une gentillesse rare (meme quand on connaît la gentillesse des balinais la c'était vraiment au dessus de tout). La nourriture est tout simplement la meilleure que j'ai pu manger sur Bali avec des aliments directement du jardin et une carte simple mais maîtrisée a 1000% sachant que son mari est un chef pour un célèbre hotel a nusa dua. Le logement est super atypique en forme de tipi ⛺️ le lit est confortable et il n'y avait pas d'insectes alors qu'on est au milieu de la Jungle. Je remercie encore Yuni et cette nuit passée a Sanda eco cabin je reviendrai et conseillerais a tout mes amis d'y passer.

Le paradis existe! Quelle expérience inoubliable. Les cabanes atypiques sont un petit cocon avec une vue à couper le souffle, un bonheur au réveil. Le matelas est très confortable. Le jardin est sublime, toute la nourriture est excellente et vient du jardin. Mais le plus exceptionnel, ce sont les hôtes. Harry, Yuni, leurs parents et leur team, nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux, nous avons pu discuter, nous relaxer, toujours prêts à rendre service, nous espérons pouvoir revenir un jour.

Si vous cherchez à vous évader de l’hypertourisme alors ce lieu est parfait. L’accueil est chaleureux et le lieu est comme coupé du monde. Nous avons découvert la région à scooter et nous en avons pris plein les yeux.

Posto incredibile. Poche casette immerse in un giardinoa con alberi da frutta e caffe, con piccolo ristorantino che si affacccia su un parco botanico terrazzato con laghetti e cascatelle. Tutto a gestione familiare. I proprietari sono molto cordiali e simpatici. Cena buonissima, ambiente pulitissimo.

Tolle Umgebung, aber...

Die Umgebung ist wirklich toll! Die Familie ist sehr freundlich. Auch war das Essen wirklich gut und mit breiter Auswahl. Man kann hier bestimmt einen tollen Aufenthalt haben.

Leider hatten wir wohl etwas Pech. Wir haben nicht das gebuchte Zimmer bekommen. Kein Ausblick, kaum Fenster, kein Schlafen im Spitzdach und auch kein Waschbecken im ganzen Zimmer, d.h. Zähne putzen unter der Dusche und kein rasieren möglich. Es war wohl die ältere Familien-Cabin, die wir aber nicht gebucht hatten. Leider gab es außer einer Entschuldigung auch keine Lösung. Insgesamt kann man die Unterkunft gut buchen, aber vielleicht vorher vergewissern, dass man auch wirklich das gebuchte und abgebildete Zimmer bekommt.

Parfait et authentique. A vivre une fois dans sa vie

Chez Harry, tout est fait pour s’y sentir bien ! Une nature luxuriante, une vue sur la jungle à couper le souffle, des jardins magnifiques, des cabines confortables juste ce qu’il faut pour s’apaiser. Tout a été construit par Harry et sa famille, impressionnant. Sans compter que Harry vous accueille comme sa propre famille, au milieu de ses parents, sa femme et ses enfants, leur cuisine est délicieuse. Les massages étaient sensationnels. Nous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés. Merci de nous avoir fait découvrir la vie balinaise authentique. Vous resterez l’un des plus beaux souvenir de nos 3 semaines à Bali. Et pour sûr nous reviendrons lors de notre prochain voyage.
