The location. Mt Agung with sunrise behind. Fireflies like fairies at night. Glass on 2 sides of villa for beautiful view. Peaceful setting. Putu and Nengah are most wonderful hosts, very friendly, hospitable, really make you feel comfortable. Nothing too much trouble. Putu scootered me to thermals, water purification and is a very safe driver. Nengah makes delicious foods and very helpful. Feels like family, non intrusive but there if needed. Putu also took me for a walk on their amazing property. The views, plants, herbs are beautiful. I highly recommend staying at Kubu D’Ume Homestay

Very quiet and beautiful. Great location and an ok breakfast. Easy to rent a scooter from the owner.
Great location but unfortunately if you don’t organize your own taxi the day of check out as the owner can help but it will be almost double the price.
