Wonderful experience

I especially recommend this place to anyone planning to visit the Hemingford Grey Manor. It is located just about a 15-minute walk from the Manor, and you can enjoy the beautiful, bucolic scenery along the walk―which is the very same landscape mentioned by Mr. Nozomu Hayashi in his essay. You can also have a truly wonderful homestay experience here. The owners are so kind and generous that you may feel as if you were at home even during the traveling! I really enjoyed talking with them. My daughter even said she didn't want to leave and wished to stay longer(She also loved their selection of cereals at breakfast so much)!

Fabulous stay.

A perfect overnight stay. Very welcoming host who made us feel very relaxed and " at home". Lovely comfortable bedroom and ensuite. The only reason we haven't given a 10 is that there is always something to strive for!

A very minor niggle. it was difficult to turn the shower control to change the temperature- but that wouldn't stop us staying again! Lighting in the bedroom was a little dim.

Nice place to stay, quiet residential location. Beds comfortable, slept well. Lovely family home, we were made to feel very welcome. Fantastic hosts; nothing was too much trouble, very helpful & good communication. Off road parking place was a bonus. Great location for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful and relaxing stay in a beautiful house with wonderful hosts

Full access to the kitchen is given, including a choice of different breakfasts. Room is clean and very comfortable with excellent en-suite bathroom. The host couldn't be any more friendly or helpful.

Surprising place in a lovely area.

Rika and Mike (their home) are a lovely couple very friendly and welcoming, we had an en suite room that was very comfortable. The house is a short walk from the villages of Hemingford Grey and Hemingford Abbots two lovely villages by the river Great Ouse. We normally stay at a Travelodge or Premier Inn on route to family further south but thought we’d try something different and glad we did. Definitely recommend and definitely stay again.

Wonderful hosts, made it a very pleasant experience

The location was very convenient to my needs. Mike and Reika were absolutely lovely and went way above to ensure everything was comfortable and they took good care. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for accommodation at St Ives. Very happy with my stay.
