Very clean. Whole upstairs of the house to myself. A lot of complementary things like cereals and Tassimo coffee and hot chocolate that other places skimp on but are a few pennies and can really give a sense the host has thought about your needs. Hot plate, microwave, oven. Great price, other places should offer similar value.

Maid Marion's Retreat is ery easy to find the location, with off-street parking and great access to amenities - shops, restaurants, eateries and tesco Superstore within 10-15mins walk away.
Maid Marion's Retreat has great provisions for guests, be they staying overnight and longer. I really appreciated the very clear labeling and range of cooking facilities. It made the stay very comfortable, like being at a family member's home.
The room was very well thoughtout, plenty of facilities for making tea/coffee and adored that snacks were provided.
I honestly think the price does not cover the generosity and thoughtfulness from the host.
There was nothing to dislike, we had a wonderful stay.
