Lovely place to stay

Fantastic place to stay. Hosts were lovely. Very comfortable bed. Lovely shower. Fridge Microwave and air fryer a bonus. Great TV. Nice coffee and tea. Really nice toiletries. We will be back. Ideally situated to walk into Bakewell

Caroline was a lovely host, who was friendly and had great recommendations for our walks and dining out. The room was spacious, clean and a great location to explore Bakewell. Bakewell was a beautiful location, we wish we had more time there.

The Little Haven is very comfortable, in a great location with the bonus of on-site parking. Caroline was a very friendly & helpful host. A really nice touch was that for our arrival Caroline had very kindly left some treats for our furry friend Angel.

I think that Caroline said that it was a case of “still work in progress” & that in time the storeroom (which has a sink, microwave & mini fridge) may be converted into a fully finished kitchen, which we think would really complete the package on offer.

Would definitely stay again if nearby.

Caroline was super helpful, responsive and open to feedback. The room was spacious, neat and clean. The shower had good water pressure and toiletries provided were of very good quality. It’s only few minutes walk to the centre. We had a lovely stay!

The only small downside was that outside area could’ve been a bit tidier and better organised but it didn’t really bother us as we didn’t spend much time there as the weather wasn’t great anyway.

The location was exactly what we needed. There was a public park just opposite that our dog throughly enjoyed morning and evening. Bonus of a short walk into the town centre. Everything supplied in the room was good even a fan supplied as it was very warm whilst we were there. Murray was also pleased with his off road parking spot👍🏻

Nothing really Maybe a small fridge for cold drinks though some people would likely complain about the noise it made! and my wife thought a full length mirror would be a good addition.🙂👍🏻

Bakewell Haven

We received a very warm welcome from host Caroline who talked us through where everything was. There was a good selection of good quality products ie tea, coffee, shower gels and soaps and also some lovely treats which were very gratefully received and enjoyed. Caroline has a good knowledge of the area and was happy to spend time giving directions and making suggestions. The bed was super comfy. The apartment was in a great location to explore the area and close enough to walk into town. We enjoyed a lovely weekend. Thank you

Excellent location, near Haddon house and very nice owners. Good starting point for our hikes in the Peak District. Bakewell is lively, has an Coop for shopping breakfast. Best bakery selling French sourdough is Bakery Wye.

Great location and lovely host!

Excellent location - 5 minute walk to Bakewell town centre and public transport. Great host - Caroline met me on arrival to show where everything was. Apartment was very clean. Fab communication - always happy to answer questions and provided additional help. Love the treats - Bakewell pudding and biscuits. Very comfortable room and bed. Minor suggestion for extra privacy below.

Not a dislike but a suggestion. Privacy blinds (e.g. double roller blinds with both sheer and blackout fabric options) would be good. While I understand this is a private home, it was still somewhat disconcerting to be sitting at the desk with blinds up to let the sun in and suddenly have someone walk past the window to do some chores in the backyard.

What a great place to stay!

Little Haven is a brilliant little gem in Bakewell, it's location is ideal across the road from the park, just what you need when you have a dog. It has great amenities including off street parking, it's comfortable and spacious and very dog friendly even supplying dog bowls and dog towels! The hosts are very friendly and welcoming - thoroughly enjoyable stay which we will repeat in the future, many thanks!

The perfect spot for a quiet and comfortable stay in Bakewell.

Everything about The Little Haven was perfect, the bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing. Caroline was everything you want and need in a host, she was welcoming and helpful throughout. Our two dogs also enjoyed the stay, with the property directly opposite a huge field and river perfect for walking the dogs, and goes straight in to Bakewell. We will definitely be visiting again very soon.

Close to Bakewell and various walks in the area. Property was clean and host communications before arrival were good. We were met on arrival, nothing was any trouble, toiletries were provided as well as welcome drinks and off road parking.

Hosts were really friendly and welcoming. Caroline went above and beyond to make our time at the property as enjoyable as possible. The location of the property was superb, just a short stroll through the park by the river and we were in the centre of Bakewell. Parking at the property and dog friendly too!!

Gorgeous little get away, in a lovely property that’s in the perfect location!!

Me and my partner come to Bakewell quite often, and this is the first time we’ve stayed at the Little Haven, and it certainly isn’t going to be the last. Caroline was a wonderful host, nothing was too much and she went above and beyond. The facilities were excellent, and we had the most comfortable nights sleep. The property is everything you could want for a night away - quiet, comfortable, private and a short walking distance to the town centre. I’m not normally one for leaving reviews, but I had to in this case because we had such a lovely time.

Absolutely delightful.

Everything about our stay was cosy, comfortable and considered. Caroline and Rob were absolutely lovely hosts who had thought of everything, including stocking the fire pit for us! The space is clean, tidy and you feel like you’re being welcomed into somewhere you can call your own.
