Stylish Bakewell apartment -walk to cafes and river

Location is very good, not too much noise from the road, and we did manage to park close to the flat with the permit.

Location of the apartment was excellent! Perfect size of the apartment and shower was great!

While a parking pass was provided it was almost impossible to get a car park using the permit so for the 3 days we were there we had to pay for 2. Also parking is not close and as we were on a 4 week holiday we had a lot of luggage, the 2 flights up were ok however it is a narrow stairway making it a little difficult with suitcases. The lounge wasn’t very comfortable and we accidentally dropped something that rolled under it and saw that they do not clean under there as there was significant dirt/dust however the rest of the apartment was very clean. Also, noticed the inside of the microwave door was damaged so didn’t use it.

Convenience to Bakewell amenities was excellent. Fridge was cold, a good thing! The layout was interesting, but worked well. The weather helped lift the experience.

There was no mention of the number of stairs at the property! Firstly to get to front door, there were a number of stone steps to navigate and with a heavy suitcase and unreliable railing, quite dangerous. Secondly, once inside, there were three flights of stairs, quite narrow so getting suitcase up and down was difficult to say the least.
