The deck and spacious setting

good location

The location is very good, near the lake and the bus stops. Shopping center within walking distance. Although the house with the apartment is on a main road, there was no noise to be heard at night. Big terrace where you can sit outside and eat, but the parasol was broken when we were there.

The description clearly stated that there is free parking near the apartment. THAT IS NOT TRUE. Just outside the apartment is a large parking, but from 7am-12pm and 1.30 - 7.00pm there is only paid parking, CHF1.60 per hour. There are some "blue zone" parking lots around, but you cannot leave your car there all day. The free parking was one of the reasons we chose this apartment, but we got disappointed. When we booked the apartment we chose check-in between 12pm and 1pm. After we left home we told them that we will arrive shortly before 1pm. A few minutes later we received a message that the apartment won't be ready before 2.30pm. When we arrived the apartment was still in the state the last guests left - uncleaned! We called the host and he told us that the cleaner is delayed. Later he wrote that due to this we will receive a financial compensation. We are still waiting for this! Also it was stated that a local tax of CHF6 per person has to be paid. I later found out that the tax is only CHF3 per adult and no tax at all for children under 16. We got a refund for that, but the actual rates are valid since at least early 2023.

They took our money and the address that is on booking is not full. It doesn’t have door number. We called the number there and nobody answered. We called police and they couldn’t help us too. We were very disappointed and I will never use booking. Com again

Good location, however badly managed and in serious need of maintenance

The location of it was decently close to the lake and the town, although much louder than the approx corresponding location on the opposite side of town. The rooftop terrace with the BBQ was a nice feature, although the terrace itself is very run down.

When we arrived, the previous guests were still there and the property had not been cleaned. Just getting checked in ended up taking about 3 hours. At one point during this, someone even came and took the keys away from us, with no explanation given. The apartment is also quite run down - the bathroom door is badly fitted and will not close, there was also no shower curtain or trash in the bathroom. The kitchen supplies are old and not well taken care of, the top drawer of the dishwasher is broken. Cleaning supplies (dishwasher soap, paper towels) were not stocked and we had to buy these. The deck is old and the wood is splintering, there are nails sticking out everywhere, some boards flip up if you step on them wrong and one of the glass panels is broken and dangerous. Thankfully we were all adults, but this could be dangerous for children.

Non consiglio questa struttura perchè il proprietario non è una persona seria. Dopo settimane in cui la prenotazione era confermata, il giorno del nostro arrivo la cancella senza alcuna spiegazione. Il rimborso è stato subito effettuato, ma se non avessi scritto al proprietario fino al nostro arrivo non avrebbe comunicato nulla. Se non volete soprese dell'ultimo momento, soprattutto per chi deve fare un viaggio di ore per arrivarci, non lo consiglio assolutamente. Inoltre dalle recensioni che ho letto non è la prima volta.

Wunderbare Lage, grosszügige Wohnung

Die Lage ist top, sehr zentral mit Seesicht, mit einer tollen Terrasse. Organisatorisch hat es super funktioniert, öffentliche Parkplätze sind ganze in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist ausgerüstet mit allem, was man so braucht.

Es war ein wenig kalt, da die Heizung nicht richtig funktionierte.

La posizione vicina al lago e il terrazzo. Disponibilità a posticipare il check-out nel primo pomeriggio.

Logement très bien place avec une super vue mais problème de communication avec les gérants.

La difficulté pour échanger avec les gérants de l’appartement. Il aurait été bien de préciser dans l’annonce que le logement est au 3eme sans ascenseur et que le parking en face de l’appartement est limité à 12h de stationnement et payant.

Un court séjour agréable malgré tout grâce au beau temps et à la proximité du lac.

La situation

L’appartement était décevant. Pas de vue sur le lac à moins de se pencher fort depuis la terrasse. La fenêtre de la chambre donne sur un recoin sans lumière. Le lit grince et le canapé lit est inconfortable.

Un zulo en Montreux

No me gustó nada en absoluto. Poca empatía del dueño a la hora del chek in; las fotografías del anuncio correspondían a medias con lo que ofrecían porque, según nos explicaron cuando nos quejamos, se exhibían junto a las de otros apartamentos del bloque.

El apartamento era un piso bajo, oscuro, muy inferior a lo que mostraban las fotos de Booking y que ofrecía una sensación de suciedad, no porque no lo hubieran limpiado, sino por la vetusted de todo el mobiliario y del ajuar. Inaceptable para el precio que pagamos.

1- لايوجد مواقف مجانية قريبة كما هو مذكور في الحجز والمكان مزدحم بالسيارات وتحصلت على مخالفه بسبب المواقف 2- الشقه جداً قذره ويجد روائح في الفراش والسرير وجدا قديمة ومتهالكة 3-اطباق المطبخ غير نظيفة وقديمة ومتهالكة 4- يوجد حشرات ونمل في الشقه والحمام 5- لا يوجد الا حمام واحد بدون قفل 6- البلكونه خطرة اذ يوجد مسامير ضاهرة 7- يوجد اغراض شخصية وعدة وادوات في كل مكان

Die Lage so nah am See und an der Promenade hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist gut isoliert, deswegen hört man (bei geschlossenen Fenstern) den Verkehrslärm der Strasse gleich nebenan kaum. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und hat eine grosse Terrasse. Die Küche war recht gut ausgerüstet, allerdings haben wir nicht dort gekocht, sondern nur Frühstück zubereitet.

Die Wohnung liegt im dritten Stock eines Mehrfamilienhauses und ist nur über drei steile Treppen erreichbar. Es gibt keinen Aufzug. Aus den Informationen auf Booking wurde das überhaupt nicht klar. Wir hätten die Wohnung nicht gebucht, wenn das deutlich geworden wäre. Zudem heisst es auf Booking, es gebe gleich vor dem Haus einen kostenfreien Parkplatz. Das ist überhaupt nicht so. Es gibt nur zahlungspflichtige öffentliche Parkplätze für drei Stunden. Auch die Waschmaschine, die aufgelistet war bei Booking, war nirgends zu finden. Auf Nachfrage, auf die ich mehr als einen Tag später eine Antwort erhielt, hätte ich jedoch die Waschmaschine im Mehrfamilienhaus benützen können. Darauf habe ich dann verzichtet.

Emplacement idéal à proximité du centre de Montreux, presque en bordure du lac, appartement spacieux disposant d’une belle terrasse, propriétaire très commode, à recommander pour qui aimerait disposer d’un point de chute pour visiter les environs.

Schöne Wohnung, schöne Terasse.

Die Wohnung ist super, auf der Terasse hat man Seeblick un dmann ist sehr schnell am See und per Fuss am See entlang in 25min im Zentrum von Montreux und 90min beim Schloss Chillon. Der Preis ist Super. Gerne wieder wenn wir in Montreux sind.

Das einzige bei der Wohnung was uns mit 2 20 Monate alten Kinder gestrört hat inst die Treppe in Der Wohnung. Das war es ein bisschen anstrengend, weill dike Gefahr da war das sie runterfallen. Wir haben das gewusst und akzeptiert das wir die Kinder immer wieder dort weg nehmen müssen. Das ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, ich schreibe das nur das es Eltern von Kindern wissen.
