It's a Fairytale Town :)

We loved the hospitality of Hans and Tamara. They are wonderful hosts and they have spent a lot of time, money, and effort to make this the best Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed! The breakfast buffet was out of this world with homemade bread baked by Hans, and amazing variations of dips, salads, and cheeses. We felt so stuffed after breakfast, we typically skipped lunch and opted for a light snack. We really enjoyed the perfect location of the establishment. It's right off the canal, but also quiet and away from the hustle & bustle of tourists. The building is very old, but it was entirely renovated last year, so everything is brand new -- including an elevator! We truly enjoyed our time here and plan to stay here again when we visit in the future.

Exquisite B&B, a lovely place to make your home base in Bruge.

I’ve stayed in many places but Quay17 is my favourite. The building, the decor, the location and the owners Hans & Tamara are so lovely. Also 10/10 for the breakfast. Everything is so well thought out, kudos to them! We definitely look forward to staying again.

Perfect location and beautiful B&B

Beautifully restored building with great attention to detail. Our large room overlooked the canal and and super quiet all night -even with a window open. Our hosts, Hans and Tamara, have created a lovely atmosphere that makes you feel like a guest in their home. Hans took time upon check-in to give us a map and show us highlights of his city. The breakfast was plentiful and filling. Highly recommend.

Excellent, comfortable stay.

Conveniently situated a short walk from the centre. A canal-side property with private parking. The hosts , Hans and Tamara were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was first class. This would certainly be our first choice the next time that we visit Brugge. We can honestly not speak too highly of Quay17. Alun and Marie ( Wales/Nederland).

Absolute gem.

Amazing owners who go above and beyond to make your stay so special. Excellent location, in that it fronts onto a canal, is very quiet and yet only a 10 min walk to the main square. Parking on the premises is a bonus, as parking in Bruges is limited.

A perfect stay in beautiful Bruges.

From our first step inside we were welcomed by Tamara and Han’s and made to feel very welcome. It is a beautiful, renovated building with great attention to detail. The location was brilliant, just 10 minutes from everything but in a quiet situation beside a canal. Just perfect! They had also made it very festive! The breakfast was excellent too.

This is incredible place old building hosts are gorgeous. Everything new renovated building dated from 15th century it’s very quiet at night , exceptional, and tasty breakfast. Definitely recommend looking forward to visit again.

Everything about Quay 17 is exceptional. Hans and Tamara have created a wonderful base for a visit to Bruges. The lovingly restored building is located in an immaculate neighbourhood that is a very easy transfer from the train station, and walking distance from the main centre.

Paradise - comfy meets sophistication and history

Quay 17 is paradise on earth. It overlooks a beautiful canal that is an easy walk to the major tourist areas in Bruges in a local neighborhood. The owners treat each guest like family, taking the time to greet you with a glass of bubbly while walking you through a complimentary map and tour book. Recommended restaurants are incredible. My husband has a gluten allergy. Hans went above and beyond making him steaming, delicious GF breads every morning for breakfast. He bought snacks and packed us with a baggie each morning so my husband could have a snack during our long walks. The B&B is historical, even mentioned on the boat tour. Restoration was so thoughtfully done, mixing modern with historical architectural elements inside and out. Try their beer made from a recipe found in the attic! It’s delicious. Breakfast was a treat in itself, homemade eggs to your liking, fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, cheeses and meats - something for everyone. Ask for room 5 with the original wood beams over your head and through your bathroom on the top floor. It was spotless, roomy, incredible canal view, comfy sheets, nice sized towels. There’s an elevator so no worries lugging large bags up narrow steps. I cannot say enough about the hosts. Kind, friendly, helpful, engaging, comfortable, eager to share the fascinating history of the home, and connected in Bruges. I would move in tomorrow if I could. Thank you so very much for making us feel at home yet treated like royalty!!!! Everyone should stay here!

Beautifully restored historic building in a quiet part of old Brugge. Hospitality of Hans and Tamara was exceptional. Hans gave great recommendations for restaurants and spots to visit. A fabulous B & B in a great location. Perfect for our 2 night stop.

We were welcomed by our hosts with a glass of champagne, a brief history of the building, suggestions for dining and possible walks. Our room was beautifully furnished with a view of the canal. Breakfast was excellent and the location was fabulous, quiet but a short walk to the centre.

Amazing historical house belonging to amazing owners in amazing place in Brugge :-) Tamara and Hans are beautiful people and they welcomed us very warmly. The accomodation does not have any mistake. I think that it is definitely the best B&B in Brugge. And there is one bonus, you can taste original blond beer, which they special have it brewed in on of the local breweries. It taste wonderful.
