Great cosy place near to a beautiful beach

Cosy place with all the amenities you could need and is as close to the local rest bay beach - although qe are not surfers, it looked like everyone was having so much fun!.

I didnt realise there wasn't an oven (my fault) so had to try and use the microwave as a convection oven but not a big problem for a couple of days. Accomodation is attached to a house and so there was a little noise earlier than expected in the morning.

Even better than the photos, quiet road with comfortable bed.

Key collection was easy, although I tried the door to number 10 first, rather than the annex to the left. The photo rather did a dis-service to the place, the bed linen in the photos were lighter and neater in reality. The bedrooms are off a corridor which leads to the kitchen (and utility room and bathroom off the kitchen). This was on the ground floor which was ideal for our stay with an under 1. There is parking on the road, also some room on the drive for unpacking the car (but that was in front of the drive, so I didn't stay there). The main room bed was very comfortable, and plenty of room for a cot (provided by the host). The hob was fine and there was all the kitchen equipment we would have needed. There is a nice little garden section, although as it was November when we visited we didn't try it out. I've only said good rather than excellent for the hosts as we didn't see them - but getting the keys was easy. There is a view of the sea from the kitchen. I liked the night lights which had been put in for the hall and kitchen for those night loo visits. Bathroom was well set up (even with a grab-bar for when you get out of the wet shower). There was no traffic noise from the street - it is a quiet no-through road.

I didn't look very hard, but didn't find the ironing board (there was an iron, so I just don't think I found). The bathroom was at the end of the apartment which would have been better an an ensuite (for those older guests, or those with babies who get up in the night), but didn't bother me particularly.

Super located 2-bed flat in Rest Bay

The location is perfect; the rear garden overlooks the coastline; a two minute walk to Rest Bay beach and Welsh Coastal Path. Ideally suits a group of 2-4 as has one twin and one double bedroom; all on the ground floor.

Nothing was of concern to us but do bear in mind that the flat is part of the owner's property albeit with a separate entrance. Thus, it would not suit lively groups or ones seeking total privacy.

Stay was amazing....

I am very picky here as place is amazing, Kitchen could have more basics, like coffee, tea bags, sugar, vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper etc, maybe an option of a sun blocking umbrella for the table and chairs outside. Maybe a Bluetooth speaker to connect phone to for music...

Perfect location for the beautiful beach, spotlessly clean, welcoming and very good facilities.

Really clean, situated perfectly for the beach with a dedicated entrance down to the foreshore only minutes walk down the hill to gorgeous sand. Well appointed kitchen with items for washing up, dishwashing etc and clean linen and towels throughout.

The only shortcoming was that the mattress on the double bed was too soft for you personal preference. But otherwise clean, spacious and welcoming.

Only there for one night but would throughly recommed it

Location was fantastic and appartment new and very well equiped. The view from the window was fantastic.

The heating needed sorting out as only 2 radiators worked. They came on for a short while in the morning then went off after half an hour. Ok in the summer but in February at 3oC a bit chilly.
