No lamps in the bedroom

Lovely accommodation and excellent location, close to some must-see attractions, shops, and restaurants. We had a few issues during our stay (broken bed base, sink wouldn't drain, curtain off hooks, smell in upper bedroom), but they were fixed as soon as the company were aware.

Lack of windows in upper bedroom and drain smelling the same room. They seemed to fix it during the stay, but it could do with a room air freshener.

The apartment has a few pluses like size and location but many more minuses. Some issues can’t be fixed. The lower rooms are about 1.5 stories below the entrance on the 3rd floor, rendering them so close to the street that they are very loud, even with closed windows. The bedroom upstairs is windowless making it very hot and stuffy. Other shortcomings could be fixed if the host wanted to. They don’t really seem to care though, as most issues had been reported in previous reviews by other guests and remained unresolved for us. Sinks in both bathrooms don’t drain. Empty shampoo dispensers. Building access keypad doesn’t work sometimes. On top of that we found all cables to the internet router unplugged and had to figure out how to connect them ourselves. The biggest issue however is that this is a corporate host with multiple properties in the city and minimal involvement. Communication is practically non-existent. Only functional mode is via WhatsApp. Every question is first answered with a hyperlink to their useless website. Then, an “AI agent” takes over, from whom the only answer I ever got was “Apologies, we were not able to understand your request.” When you finally get someone on the chat, it feels like a call center in India following a script. We had 5 suitcases and a rental car and I asked if there was a possibility to stop 1 min in front of the property before returning the rental and drop off the luggage or if the street was so busy/narrow that we couldn’t do that. I was told “we don’t have a dedicated parking spot and we encourage you to follow local traffic rules”. Not helpful! Another source of frustration was that you need to pre-register providing all your personal info, including photos of your passport and selfies before they give you the access codes to the unit.
