The apartment was very nice, everything was provided. The location was excellent and the host provided us with good information. Being able to open the doors overlooking the small street below was great.

The location was excellent, 1 min away from Sao Bento metro station, 2 min away from Sao Bento train station (where you can take a train to Aveiro, Braga or Guimaraes for a day trip). Walking down to the riverside takes less than 10 min and there are restaurants and mini markets everywhere. The apartment is at the center of the center but not overwhelmingly busy. There are always pedestrians passing by on the street but the apartment was quiet (good soundproofing). The apartment was spacious, clean and cute. AC and wifi working well and bed was comfortable. There is no elevator but we were on the 2nd floor so it was ok. Joana was very friendly and helpful, messaging us before we arrived to provide all information needed. We could message her from 10am to 8pm and she was very responsive.

The hot water tank was not too big so hot water will run out after about 15 min. The 2nd person would need to wait for about 30-45 min after the first shower to have enough hot water to be refilled.
