Porto with History

This is lovely apartment. It is very well located and all the main sites are in easy walking distance. There is a supermarket a few steps away. The apartment itself is quiet and comfortable. It is very clean, and has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the early check in, and the helpful advice about which sites to see. We would definitely stay here again.

This apartment was an absolute gem. It was one bedroom with a large living space with two possible fold down beds, A large modern and well-equipped kitchen with all the appliances and a large bathroom with an over the bath shower. The owners have not cut any corners. The living space had a large table with chairs. a large tv and excellent wi-fi. Furthermore, the apartment was spotless. In addition to the toilet in the bathroom there was another toilet off the living area. There was everything you needed, additional towels and toiletries. Although the kitchen was exemplary, we choose to eat out. There are many restaurants and eateries a matter of a minutes away, although avoid the nearest bar offset from the apartment as their drinks are expensive compared to most others. The location of the flat is very central to the old Porto. Everywhere is walkable, although be prepared for the steep inclines, everything is downhill to the river., and of course uphill on the way back. Irrespective of your preferences for specific foods there is a huge selection within Porto. We were met with the keys on our arrival; this was hugely appreciated. The owners father spoke excellent English, was very helpful and could not have done anymore for us. I would fully recommend this accommodation. The only negative for some would be the lack of air conditioning although there were many fans to help remedy this.

From being warmly greeted by Fernando, our stay in their lovely apartment was most enjoyable. It was close to all the main sights, had everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable bed, very quiet area.
