Lift stopped working

The location was very convenient, say 150m metres from Sao Bento station and Metro. It was a direct walk down to the Douro river and to many important sites. I liked the layout, and double glazing for sound attenuation but also the ability to get fresh air in. There was also an effective air conditioner. It was on the first floor but a lift was very handy. Very good storage, full washing machine, and iron etc. Website photos were accurate.

It would have been good to have a bit more horizontal space / shelving for putting things in the bathroom. I would appreciate a couple of tea bags and basic condiments. My greatest frustration was not receiving the code for entry in a timely way. I had a new eSIM which wouldn’t work so had no way of contacting the owners/ managers, having just arrived in the country. Why can’t the code be sent the day before. It was quite distressing. I was lucky that a lovely family arrived at the same time and were able to give me the external door code. They then rang the manager for me and he sent delightful Phillippa down to help.

The bedroom toilet flush was not working nobody attended or responded to my problem

Location was great and super central.

Door to the roof terrace was broken, furniture of roof terrace broken. Toilet seat broken. Not even enough wine glasses for the number of guests that the apartment holds. Communication from host was non-existent and messages completely ignored.
