Great location with access to the main areas in Porto.
We had problems getting into the building and had to ring the host about 6 times to get the access code, we were waiting outside for 15 minutes. This should always be sent before arrival.
We booked the apartment for three people, no pillows had been supplied for the sofa bed. When I complained about the lack of pillows, only one pillow was brought the next day. Meaning one of us had to use just one pillow for a double sofa bed (which was rock hard). The main bed and sofa bed were also hard, so we all had bad backs by the end of the three nights.
The bathroom is really run down, and there was mould all over. Made me think the apartment isn’t cleaned properly.

Our family of five adults had a nice stay at the property. We thought the location was super convenient, being a few steps from great food and sights and the Sao Bento train station, which was an easy starting point from Porto to Lisbon. The beds were comfortable (even the sofa bed was fine) and it was amazingly quiet for a restful night's sleep. Although we didn't have a chance to use the terrace, it was a nice space and had a cool view.
We thought communication with the property could have been better when deciding whether to book the place or not (took several days to get a response to questions we had) but improved once we arrived. The toilet seat was loose/broken in one of the bathrooms and we had to transfer the soap dispenser from the sink to the shower (no dedicated soap dispenser in the shower). Additionally, the label on the reusable soap dispenser was old, faded and peeling off, so the impression/presentation wasn't great in that respect. We also thought the bathroom facility overall was a bit rundown.

Centrally located and just a few minutes’ walk from São Bento station, with restaurants and shops nearby, and within easy walking distance of the river. The three bathrooms made mornings much more convenient for a family group. The apartment was well equipped, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and most dining essentials. All check-in and check-out processes were contactless, which was very convenient.
The apartment was generally clean, but it was not quite as perfect as shown in the photos. Some of the furniture was worn, and there was peeling wallpaper in the bedroom. Only the bare minimum essentials were provided, particularly for coffee pods, which felt insufficient for the length of the stay. The access code was not sent automatically, even half an hour before check-in, and we had to request it via message. Responses were rather slow, and it felt difficult to reach any staff during the stay if assistance was needed.
