Good value. Beautiful hotel. It's not very close to city central but still highly recommend it. The only issue is their wall seems quite thin. You can hear noises from outside, the sound of closing heavy doors particularly

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel which had a very friendly service. The room was not particularly large but bed was very comfortable. Room was clean but the wall and floor style made it passed like it is a bit dirty (floor had cement color with stains, while walls and ceiling were like unpainted). Other than that,I was very pleased overall. Air conditioning control is not possible in the room. Customer has to request reception in order to change the room thermostat. Breakfast was very good.

To start. I was waiting 35 min to do check in, when asked the staff was very kind, it wasn't their fault. They were the only member of staff running the whole place, and this was 1845. On top of that the bar was closed because they didn't have enough staff. Breakfast buffet is a joke, for 15 euros the coffee wasn't even good and for s simple scramble eggs I could have cheaper somewhere. What's is irritating is that the owners don't seem to care. This place charges s lot for everything yet they keep the staff under minimal wage salary which is s joke in Portugal as locals can't really live with that. I think travellers should be more conscious of the impact of the travelling and what our money is actually doing. This person that was at the desk had to do a couples of jobs for the same 5 euros an hour. I'm.sure you can pay more your staff. Shame. Love the location of this place but I won't be returning here.
