I felt like at home.

The guest house is very quiet and clean. Thanks to the host, I could stay in a room with a wonderful view. The location is very convenient to visit the sea side and the bus station. I love their hospitality the best!! I enjoyed her homemade dishes.

Nice stay

Lady prepared a very nice local meal setup every morning at 9 am and was fantastic. Dringing bottled water was available all round. Whole famiywas very cheerful. Thanks

Parking was not free as mentioned in the advert. And I have received a parking notice even after placing the parking ticket however that was mistake . For which tobacco lady at ulcinj was of great help she spoke with sheriff. Thanks to her.

Friendly service, great hospitality, very clean room and amazing food.

We were greeted with friendly service and wonderful hospitality. The location is very close to the center of Ulcinj. The room was spotless, and the breakfast was wonderful. Ms. Lija and her husband, in particular, took excellent care of us. We felt like we were in a family home. The complimentary Dubai cheesecake was amazing. In short, you can book here with your eyes closed and stay with peace of mind. Thank you for everything, Lija ❤️

Simple nice room.

Clean room, friendly staff, welcome coffee and location

There are some differences from "Room description" on booking.com. i.e. My room was No View, No Kitchen, No Washing machine, No Refrigerator, No Ironing facilities, No Tea/Coffee maker, No Iron, No Additional toilet, No Electric kettle.

Comfortable stay

Good, central location next to local market, not far from bus station nor beach. Very nice owner preparing homemade meals, huge portions :) Good wifi connection. Worth recommending.

Disappointing breakfast and noise at night

Hosts were friendly.

The breakfasts were far from what they advertise in the photos. We only got a bun with jam or meat spread and a cup of tea, you'll be better off going to a nearby bakery. It was also quite loud during the night, there are dogs howling and a rooster crowing, so not great if you're a light sleeper.

It was great for a short stay and I would come back!

The location is amazing, the rooms are spacious with balconies and the collectively used terrace is lovely. Everything was very clean and the family is absolutely lovely at hosting.

There is no parking as advertised belonging to the accommodation. Rather there might be space in public parking along the street which, however, is rather cheap and was available. There seemed to be only one toilet and shower in one room that had to suffice for a number of people, but it worked fine.

Authentic personal experience and a nice view!

My husband and I had a lovely stay in guest house Vera! The place is run by a really nice couple who also lives there, so it had a personal touch with great service. The breakfast was good, and the hotel is located in a nice quarter, slightly away from all the touristy areas of Ulcinj, so it was a more authentic experience. Good grocery shopping options nearby, including a local market with organic homegrown produce, and less than 15 mins to the Old Town on foot!

FOOD !!!! YOU CAN EAT LIKE LOCAL AT GUEST HOUSE VERA A very special breakfast and the dinner we order to do for us! All domestic and homemade food and drinks. ROSE JUICE was amazing. Very fresh and summery drink made by LIJE the women who host us to feel like we are in our home. Beautiful terrace. Rooms have all you need. LOCATION PERFECT. Green market in front of the house.

It is close to a beach and a 20 minute drive to other beaches. If I didn't have a car, I would totally rent a bike. It's also walking distance to the night clubs. When we first got there, the host greeted us and gave us Turkish coffee and juice and a sweet dessert. The room was air conditioned and not hot.

The twin size bed was a bit uncomfortable. Driving into the location is a bit tricky, there are two ways, one is the roundabout but somebody's car would block the entrance. The other is where you drive in the wrong direction and coordinate with other cars to give you room to drive through.

A peaceful base in Ulcinj.

Vera and her family are very hospitable. Her Mum brought me coffee and a delicious biscuit she had made, when I arrived. I liked the big room, the nice firm mattress, and the quiet location. It was nice to lie in and I slept peacefully. The location is about half way between the bus station and the old town/beach. There is a (noisy) fridge in the room and a supermarket and produce market across the road, so you can self cater for breakfast if you have your own utensils.

The wifi was patchy. I usually had to go out in the hallway to connect. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been handy. I left my plug adaptor in the power point 😢! If any kiwis stay at Vera's, at least there's a power plug adaptor they can use.

What a find. This quiet guesthouse behind the market was in a perfect location for us. It’s about half way between the beach/old fort and the bus station. The family who has the guesthouse could not have been kinder or more helpful. We enjoyed talking to them as they were welcoming and hospitable. The guesthouse was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed sitting out on our balcony watching the comings and going of the market. Make sure to visit the market! There are several restaurants in the area, however our first restaurant was so good we returned the next day to have lunch before leaving.

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. If we had known how much we would like this area we would have planned to stay longer.

Nice stay in Ulcinj

Nice and friendly owners. Very good location, in the middle between bus station and Ulcinj old town.Good air conditioning - it is very cold now in Montenegro and You need some heating at night. Rooms although bit out dated are very very clean. Like the other spaces. Quite easy to find. All in all quite good for the budget travellers.

Excellent value for money. Room was spacious and comfortable and the shared balcony was an added bonus. Good location behind a market on a side street parallel to a main road with lots of restaurants, cafés and other businesses. Walking distance to the bus station in one direction and the old town in the other
