Appartement Vieux Lille avec parking et balcon - Constantine

Great location in the old section of Lille, with great restaurants and groceries nearby. Comfortable bed and sofa, with decent kitchen utensils and utensils. Nice touch having some olive oil and balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Helpful host, which was very needed because you have to get the keys from one location, park your car in another location, and access the apartment from a 3rd location! Plus there are 2 Elevators, only one of which accesses where the apartment is. Make sure you find the door Bat D for the right Elevator.

There was only 1 roll of toilet paper, and the host wouldn't supply more, even though 2 of us were staying for 3 days. That's just not right. This was the ONLY place in Europe that did that. The towels were thin and corse. It's the little things that make a big difference. I don't like unwelcome surprises: the host said they would check the electricity usage and charge us if we used more than they allocated. THIS WAS NOT STATED in the Booking. Com description. Not that we're extravagant users, but if this were winter, I would imagine heating the apartment might push the allocation over. This should have been listed in the description so we could make an informed decision. As mentioned above, the instructions for arrival were a bit confusing, but thankfully the host was available to help. If these things were fixed up, this place would be a 10

The location was amazing. Perfect. The apartment was spotless: very clean. All the facilities were exactly as described. The communication from the rental agency was very fast and effective.

The apartment was cold on cold nights. Electric heaters were ok but not very effective ok really cold nights. The parking was exactly as described but it should be noted that the space was small for a medium sized SUV (Renault Scenic or BMW X3) -see photo. The entrance also tight if other cars parked on road. Once inside the parking was good. Getting into the apartment from the parking garage is through the door with a red arrow. Very convenient.

Het appartement zou gezelliger ingericht kunnen zijn. We misten een vuilnisbak ( was er helemaal niet) en er hing een vies geurtje in de badkamer.

Great location, secure parking, Netflix TV. Nice shower. Well-equipped.

There’s still only 1 toilet roll and it’s still a smaller double bed. The coffee machine still doesn’t work neither did 1 bed lamp. Don’t they read feedback? Customer is always right! Dangerous electric socket in bedroom hanging out the wall and no mattress protector with ill-fitting flat sheet. The worse thing is access to the apartment- it’s like being on a treasure hunt- you have to go to one place, collect a clue, work out where to go next, go to the next place, work out the clue until finally after a huge trek around several buildings carrying your luggage, the prize is finally to access your accommodation ( where by the way you have to pull the front door of the apartment towards you in order to unlock it) WHY don’t they say upon leaving your car, look to the left for door marked ‘ BAT D Concert ‘ go through ( use one of the keys) and proceed to 4th floor in elevator. This would be so much simpler. They also need to communicate via the Booking.com App where I can translate into English. They sent instructions via WhatsApp where I can’t. So really complicated instructions all in French which isn’t helpful when the access instructions are so complex.
