Cosy flat in the Old Town.

Great flat in the Old Town. Very comfortable, modern flat with spacious bathroom. I loved the inner court yard space.. Quite straightforward to find and check in. We will definitely stay again.

Toilet could have been cleaner -some stains around the toilet seat hinges. Small bits of dirt in the fridge.

Well appointed apartment

We loved everything - a large apartment for the two of us, (however if you had 4 using fold out couch) then this is ok also, close to centre of beautiful Lille and lots of places within 5 minutes to eat. The communication with the owners was excellent before and during our stay with a secure Carpark close by. The apartment clean and contemporary, well appointed with all we needed including a comfy bed and importantly a washing machine and storage for your luggage before or after your stay a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

The staircase to our apartment not a problem for us however a tricky flight if you had large bags.

Location and the car parking which was 2 mins away, secure and a good rate.

On arrival one half of the sofa was covered in the remains of crisps. The bedroom could do with a blind or net curtains as when the curtains are open, there is no privacy.

Delightful, would happily stay again.

Nicely situated for the city centre, close to amenities such as shops, bars, transport links etc. Appartment was nicely decorated, spacious, clean, well-equipped, and overall in good order. Requests for extra utensils were quickly responded to. Nothing 'icky' about the place, quite unlike the appartment we rented in Paris the week before....!

only minor issues: - Kitchen is short on utensils. - Some limited noise from neighbours (to be expected, and was tolerable). - No lift, stairs are steep and tight.

Very nice place

Really nice flat, modern, comfortable and well equipped. Only issue is the absence of soundproofing between floors which means you can hear your neighbours’ movements etc quite loudly. The surrounding la are very quiet however

Lovely short stay in a clean apartment in a great location to explore Lille on foot.

Location was excellent. Beds comfortable. Heating efficient when required. Luggage storage facility, although not used, was useful.

Lack of mirror in main bedroom. Cups had tea/coffee stains in them.

Superb Location, Exceptional Apartment, Would Stay Again...

Brilliant location in a great part of town, superb facilities (with one tiny exception - see below), beautifully appointed apartment, could not ask for anything more. Would definitely book to stay here again. Also, Lille is a fabulous destination!

Only issue we had was the shower simply refused to drain - I ended up having to do a bit of DIY plumbing to remove a massive clump of hair from the shower drain, which looked like it had been there for a while. Small (but quite important) detail in an otherwise superb experience.

Cute, comfortable, cool and classy!

Loved the design - and the extra touches (baggage storage is genius). Everything in a compact space without feeling remotely squashed. Lovely shower, well equipped, good storage for clothes etc. Cute, comfortable and cool. Terrific location right on the doorstep of some of the best parts of the city. Terrific vfm too.

Needs some upkeep

The apartment is situated at a walking distance from most of the city attractions. Check-in and check-out were smooth (the key was left and returned in a mailbox). The apartment is furnished and decorated with taste. Some coffee, tea, and water were left (for 2 people, though we were 3).

The place is a bit run down - the walls, doors, furniture, and mattresses have a lot of stains and dirt and need some in-depth cleaning and upkeep. The shower has a mixer tap, which doesn't allow to regulate the quality of water. The sofa-bed is extremely uncomfortable (very thin mattress) noisy. Cars park in front of the windows (on the sidewalk), so there's not much privacy.

Perfect flat, but be caution for elderly

This flat was located in a quiet area. Although it was not in the centre of the city, it is convenient to go anywhere. All the equipment in the flat was new. The bed was comfortable, heating was working well.

There was no lift provided by the flat. The stairs were not friendly to elderly, which was not easy to go. And the luggage-saving place was not safe at all. No one was there. You can use the password to open the door of the luggage-saving area.

The insulation is bad, you can hear everything what happens at the neighbors. You wake up early in the morning due to noise of the neighbors. Unfortunately we were not able to rest.

A lovely stay in a surprisingly good city - lots to do and lots to see

The location of the apartment is perfect for the old part of Lille and it’s easy walking distance to local shops and restaurants

The only small (very small ) criticism is that the main setting in the lounge is a sofa bed which was not the most comfortable but acceptable and would be very necessary if more were sleeping there.

quiet residential area surrounded with excellent restaurants and bars. functional, well designed and well equipped interior.

very steep, narrow communal staircase which is difficult to navigate even without luggage. also a freak heat wave whilst we visited Lille and the apartment was very warm and hard to cool down. doubt this would usually be a problem.

Sofa bed used as the settee in the lounge was extremely uncomfortable to sit on which was a shame as there wasn’t anywhere to sit and relax in the evenings. Stairs to the apartment were very steep and narrow which we were told about prior to booking. Fine for us but definitely to be considered before booking.

Exceptional

We loved the apartment. We had the top floor (Flandres) which was split level so the 3 fittest members of our group of 6 had the bedroom and bathroom up the extra stairs! The building has been nicely renovated to retain its character but with modern amenities. Another bonus is the luggage storage available before and after your check out times. The location is perfect - just a gentle walk to local bars and restaurants and not much further to the centre of town. Highly recommended.

Nothing really....but do be aware of the steepness and narrowness of the stairs. It's a characteristic of many Lille buildings...just make sure you don't take enormous suitcases, and do have young fit people in your group!😆 We also had the benefit of meeting the very helpful owner at check-in who was happy to do some of the case carrying...thank you!

Great place to stay while cycling. Close to the city centre & safe storage area for bikes & luggage, although I would recommend staying in the ground floor apartment. Good cooking facilities & helpful communication from the owners before & during our trip

Family holiday

Location was fantastic, just a few minutes walk from centre of old town, and near a supermarket and cash point. Generally it was well equipped and very clean. Bedrooms were comfy and spacious and bathrooms were great. The communication from the owners was also excellent and they were very accommodating with our requests for early access and early check in details.

Sofa was creaky and not that comfy. Apartment door lock seemed loose so it didn't feel that secure, and although we think it probably was, we ended up pushing the table against it on a night! A few more sharp knives would have been useful in the kitchen.
